The rooms alloted to us were less than perfect.It was huge, I'll give you that, but the bathroom didn't have a lock (which they fixed later), the showers were dirty, the ceiling fans was riddled with dust particles which falls on us when we turn it on.They use the old school gas water heater with no proper ventilation which caused the entire bathroom to be filled with gas fumes.This made us vacate the room in the middle of the night.I can only speak to the room that we got, maybe the other rooms might be better.Also, please note that the total ratings on this Google map entry is inclusive of their spa, and not just their rooms.

Nyoman’s massages are really something else. While you can easily find a cheaper Balinese massage every few metres, Nyoman is worth every penny and more. He understands the body properly and has treated many of my yoga and other injuries. This is maybe not the one for you if you’re looking for a soft relaxing message, but if you’re looking to release tensions and muscle pains Nyoman is your man.

Worst massage I've ever had. I have bruises and welts everywhere, Nando and his wife have absolutely no idea what they are doing and no professional training. He wanted to straighten my neck, under no circumstances should someone who has no training do that, in the worst case scenario it could lead to a stroke! He pulls off the fake one with the sheet that is cold at first and then warms up on his stomach. Absolute nonsense. Please keep your distance from this self-proclaimed “healer.” It was also dirty and didn't have a feel-good atmosphere.

No recommendation for a massage at this place! Nando the owner has no clue what he does. I asked him about his qualification after some hurtful manipulations maneuvers on my back and he told me that god gave him his skills. He tells every customer that he readjusts bones of the spine. Then he puts leaves on the abdomen and tells everyone about abdominal issues or „missing someone at home“. I heard that same story of at least ten people and was told the same. After the massage I have bruises all over my thorax. What a charlatan. Don’t let him manipulate your neck, you can possibly get a dissection of your vertebral artery and a stroke. Cases that can happen especially when someone has no training.

Unique experience, I will definitely remember Nando and his wife for a long time. Lovely and warm people. Massage was quite strong and not always relaxing bur it helped my body and released tension. Afterwards Nando shared his thoughts. Highly recommend

Stayed on July 19 2020, for 5 very good days, the villa owner is very friendly and kind, the rooms and the whole villa are very clean, the view is very calm and beautiful near Campuhan Hill, rivers and tourist attractions, located in the center of Ubud, lots of cheap delicious places to eat , overall the point is great, will come back again
