There are a lot of negative comments, but for me it was a very good inn considering the price and location.The room is adequate and cleanMy yukata didn't smell bad either.Although there is no mention of the accommodation's facilities, there is a shared medium-sized refrigerator in front of the rooms on the second floor.Considering the number of rooms, there might not be enough space if it's full, but since it's not written in the facilities in the first place, you can count yourself lucky if it's empty.The breakfast was also very delicious and gave me energy in the morning.After we checked out, the landlady was very kind to us by letting us take a shower after playing in the sea before returning home.I would like to take care of you again when you visit Jogashima.

It was a quiet and very relaxing accommodation right in front of the sea.Dinner is delicious!!Breakfast is simple Japanese food.However, it comes with natto, hot spring eggs, seaweed, dried horse mackerel, and pickles, making it a super healthy Japanese meal! really like!The landlady is a very simple person, perhaps second generation, and not the friendly type.However, he seems to be managing the business on his own.This time, it was just a weekend and not a consecutive holiday, so there were only 4 groups of customers, but I imagine it would be difficult when there are many customers.This time, I was directed to Rakuten's website and tried to make a reservation, but it didn't work, so I made a reservation over the phone.I thought it would be more reliable to make a reservation by phone.It's located on the west side of Jogashima, so on sunny days, there may be rooms where you can watch the sun set.Since Jogashima Lighthouse is nearby, I think it would be a good idea to go sightseeing while you are there.The walls are thin, so it might not be suitable for young couples. (lol)

I used it for my first solo trip with my dog on the 7th after the New Year.As others have said, it certainly has a Showa era feel to it, but every part of it is kept clean and it was a fun trip.The Showa-era part of it was a trip with my dog, so it was an easy trip.Since the inn is very close to the sea, there will be some noise on windy days, so it may not be suitable for people who are sensitive.But for someone like me who loves the sea, it was like a lullaby.After the trip was over, I was once again impressed by the hostess's thoughtfulness.thank you for everything.It was an inn that I would like to stay at again.The grilled salmon in the morning was plump and very delicious, and I would like to order dinner next time.

I had made a reservation, but when I arrived there was no one there, so I ended up waiting there for an hour.I also contacted the site I used to make the reservation (Rakuten), but was told that there would be a cancellation fee no matter what the circumstances, so I was at a loss as I waited.After waiting for 1 hour and 15 minutes after the reservation time, the landlady came... but it was around 7:40 pm (she said that the business partner's shop was closed and she couldn't prepare)... in the end... at the inn. I couldn't eat dinner...I changed to a plan that included breakfast.The inn is an old Showa era guesthouse. The cleaning was thorough, but there was some sound leakage from other rooms.The landlady works at her own pace and has a unique personality, but ultimately she is a kind person.The surrounding shops close early at 5pm, so when something like this happens, it's hard to find a place to eat.

The straight service rating is 3 stars, butI am giving this score to express my gratitude for responding flexibly to my unreasonable request.The age of the facility cannot be denied.merit．． This is actually the only accommodation on Jogashima that accommodates 1 person (other accommodations refused unless there were 2 or more people).．． cheap! I was able to stay for 5000 yen including breakfast.．． close to the seaDemerit．． Only one person at a time can use the bath in shifts, and they have to fill the bath themselves. When one person enters, the hot water is drained and the next person enters, so if there are many customers, hygiene becomes a concern.．． The toilet smells. As mentioned in other reviews, the ammonia smell is strong. It doesn't look filthy, but maybe it's a sewage system?．． No wifi (Rakuten's reservation site says yes, but maybe it's a mistake?)othersAlthough it is not limited to this inn,Most restaurants on this island close at 4pm.It's pitch dark at 6pm.If you do not choose a dinner plan,Either bring your own food in advance or order the curry rice (980 yen with salad, large portion of meat!) for an extra charge early on.There are no convenience stores, so if you forget, you'll be hungry by night!

I went on a personal trip 4 years ago. I was prepared for it to be crowded since it was a weekend, but it was surprisingly empty. As everyone has commented, the facility is old, but I think the price is low and reasonable. It's a short walk to the nearby lighthouse and cape, so it's great for sightseeing.

The seafood was exquisite.There's no convenience store nearby, so I have to get everything I need before heading there.By the way, alcohol is sold in the kitchen ☺️The character of the landlady was also wonderful and fun.

12.3 years ago I wanted to go on a trip to Miura because I wanted to eat seafood, but at that time there were no inns that would let me stay with my dog, but Jogashima Club accepted them, and I was very grateful to them for allowing me to stay there, and it has become my favorite inn ever since. I repeat it many times.The inn is old, and the hostess is not the kindest person I would describe, but it is very clean and the hostess's sincere behavior makes me feel very comfortable.The reasonable price that includes breakfast is also very attractive (*^-^)

The Showa era.It feels like the proprietress is running the business by herself.I'm doing my best to do the minimum necessary.My youngest daughter was a little hesitant about sharing the toilet and sink, but my eldest son and daughter, who are elementary school students, enjoyed it and said, ``It's so old and amazing!'' (lol)However, the toilet is Western-style with a Japanese-style toilet seat on top of a Japanese-style toilet with steps, so it might be a bit difficult for my youngest daughter, who can't reach her legs even when sitting on a regular Western-style toilet.The hallway and room are only separated by a single sliding door, so you need to be careful of each other.At dawn, I could hear the voices of people trying to see the sunrise from outside...but I wonder if I could see it if I went to the rocky area?As far as I could see from my room, it was in a different direction than the sea (the entrance to the souvenir shop).Also, if you go by car, how about a shopping district? Turn left at the dead end of the (two-lane road), and you'll find yourself facing a narrow souvenir shop that makes you wonder, "Can I drive here?"

We were satisfied with the price of ¥5000 including breakfast in such a good location during the peak summer season! !If the parking lot is empty, we will let you park your car from early morning on the day of your stay. It's right to the sea so it's easy to carry your luggage 🎶You can barbecue and drink from the morning.The building is very old due to deterioration over time.The cleaning is thorough and beautiful.The bath is a little larger than a home bath with a view of the sea.With shower and bathtub.It would have been nice if the toilet was shared and had a washlet.TVs with the terrestrial digital support mark won't turn on.I also wanted Wi-Fi.But I'm satisfied.I will stay again.*People who are particular about various things should avoid this.The view is great and there is air conditioning.
