I visited for the first time in decades. It is no longer possible to drive to this place, and I think there are probably fewer people camping here.

A family of three, in late August, on the last weekday of summer vacation. It was my first time staying here for one night.I went there using Google maps.Is the registration incorrect? likeI got really lost, but I arrived before it got dark!(Aiming for Otana Falls 2nd parking lot)A small campsite with 5 sections near the waterfall.Good flow! ! was impressive. The lovely manager told me that there was no electricity so it was pitch black at night! So I got ready before it got dark and headed down the mountain for 20 minutes to MEGA Donki to buy some food. (By the way, the frozen wagyu beef at the first Sumaru-tei store was super cheap!)To prevent wildfires, no fires may be used on the site! !So we'll have BBQ while listening to music in the rice cooker(^^)There was another group, so it wasn't all that great, but it was reassuring lolThis is the best campsite where you can fully enjoy the starry sky, the sound of waterfalls, and nature without radio waves⭐︎The next day, we walked and played at the waterfall at Otana. Both adults and children have a great time (≧∇≦)Wetsuit and spring in late AugustI guess it was a little cold! But it's cool! !*There are more horseflies than mosquitoes, so insect repellent is a must!I was wearing black pants, but I got really stung (´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥`)They seem to be more attracted to black and brown, so just be careful about the color of your clothes! !

It was difficult because it was after the rain.

I went to Otana Falls during the Obon holiday. There were several families camping at the campsite above, and the tents were set up all over the tent site.Normally, I don't have to worry about the space being small, but I do worry about the space because a lot of people come here during the Obon holidays.I'll also post Otana Falls, the surrounding waterfalls and streams (formed by heavy rain from a typhoon on the mountains), and the Sutsu River mountain stream.

It's a very quiet campsite. You can only do up to 5 tensions. I can't receive radio waves. The manager will go home at night. It is quiet and the night sky is beautiful, so it is recommended for those who like that.
