Expensive but rooms looks so cheap, toilet not good.
Water in pool dirty.
Location is good but enter to villa and road very narrow and difficult to park motorbikes inside.

We stayed there for 6 nights. Wonderful accommodation. Does need a bit of TLC. Pavers and wood very slippery when wet!
Host was very accommodating. Our 2 drivers, Agus and Gusti were great. Always happy to help and great communication skills.

This place might have been nice several years ago but not anymore when we stayed in December 2023. The bathrooms looked dirty, some of the blinds were broken, a pair of sliding doors of my room were jammed (took me 30 mins to unjam it), toilets didn't flush properly, the fridge in the middle in front of central room was broken, and so on. At night, bugs like cockroaches came into the bedroom. Overall not a comfortable place to stay in.Getting into the place was also hard, the little path leading from the road was inaccessible to cars, and was completely dark at night, and sometimes the neighbours dogs might decide to take a dump on it.On the positive side, the staff did try their best to accommodate and help us as much as possible, such as fixing/unblocking our toilets. They also cooked some basic breakfast like scrambled eggs, noodles etc that we appreciated.

So complicated owner. Tried to book with family and we will take all responsible but owner will ask you where you are from. If local, owner will say the villa already booked and over capacity.Becareful when you book with you kids under 3yo, owner will charge without any notif in advance

The villa owner is unprofessional, doesn't want to accept local guests, on the grounds that the swimming pool will be dirty, and asks for a price increase

If you want holiday with whole family, i recommend this villa. They have 6 rooms, that enough for your big family. The villa have large swimming pool with rice field view, the staff very friendly and very helping us. But if you are local tourist, and you drive your car here, this villa didn't have garage. Because the location of Heron Villa in a small alley, don't hesitate to ask them, where you can park your car. Their staff very helping. And if you use motorbike, you can bring the motorbike into the alley and park in owner house.

Perfect place for family and friends in Ubud. Escape from busy city, you can have all day swimming and sunbath. Beautiful view in the morning with the green field that will make your day start with peaceful
