We had a room on the first floor, we looked out on beautiful green nature and a beautiful swimming pool. You come from the street suddenly into a nice, quiet environment. The staff is super nice and happy to help you. Definitely recommended here!

Not the most clean, but a bit like all the facilities in Bali, but it is in an excellent position from where you can reach the most crowded and popular areas of Ubud, for the price you pay it's worth it.

If you judge this place by the bathroom, you could say this may be one the worst places you've stayed at. However, if you can get used to the idea that you'll take a shower in slippers in a post end-of-the world bathroom that you can also read about in other reviews, well, everything else is pretty great, actually.The room is spacious, it has everything you need, a huge fan, an AC, a minibar, the beds are comfy, the view is great, and for me the monkeys that come in the morning are a bonus, although I did get into a small argument with one, but it's part of the charm.The swimming pool is good also, and the location is absolutely wonderful, smack center, with plenty of places to choose for whatever may suit your fancy for food and drinks. I would definitely stay again.

It’s in such a good location - right in the heart of downtown Ubud, but tucked away amid a ton of greenery. The monkeys coming by in the morning was a real treat. The bar nearby has a cover band that plays until 11ish, which you can hear from your room even with the doors closed but I didn’t mind because they were quite good!

They are thieves. Came into my bedroom while I was sleeping and stole my cash during the middle of the night.I knew it was them because when I told them about what happened the owner was laughing nervously and wouldn’t let me go to the police.DO NOT GO to this hotel. They are dishonest and bad people. Shame on you guys!

Avoid this hotel at all costs. We arrived at Raka Rai Bungalows late at night. We had informed the hotel in advance about our arrival time. However, there was no one to greet us. We wandered around for about 15 minutes, not knowing which door to knock on. Despite the sign saying "Bungalows," what we stayed in was definitely not a bungalow. The interior of the apartment had clearly not been cleaned, and it was full of mold and dirt. There were spiderwebs all around, and the room was infested with bugs and flies. The pool, which was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel, was never cleaned during our entire 5-day stay and remained unusable.There are 2 bars really close to the hotel and it was too loud. Bars played the same music every night till after midnight. If you are enjoying a night-out it is cool, but if you would like to rest that can be disturbing.I can say that we had a terrible experience staying in Ubud.

Incredible place immersed in the nature of Ubud between the noise of the stream and birds and monkeys passing by. Small structure, a little old like the bathroom but huge, all at a ridiculous price. Beautiful experience.
