No elevator, small room and too low, friendly service and efficient, too expensive for the low status of the hotel. Good parking space and confirmed! Other rooms were bigger! Bad luck! There is a friendly atmosphere!

Where should I start here? Unfortunately, I didn't get a room as booked - but this was probably not a problem with the hotel but with the agent (HRS) - so I would like to do thatDon't blame the hotel, BUT otherwise there is exactly one positive point:- the lady at breakfast is very friendly and accommodatingEverything else was underground. It started when the hotel parking lot was suddenly reoccupied after I had to leave again for a short time. I assumed this was reserved for me.The worst and most unbelievable thing, however, was the room I had...I've never stayed in such a small room; it almost seemed oppressive. Another cell was built into the room as a bathroom. In the bathroom you have to sit at an angle on the porcelain as it is much too narrow. The rooms are also so noisy that I could clearly hear every word from the neighboring room to my left and right when my neighbors were on the phone or watching TV. In addition, the rooms are on the ground floor and other guests walk right past your own room, so the windows have to remain closed if you want privacy. The hotel is located directly on the Rhine and you can sit on benches near the Rhine in the nearby parking lot and relax, but the hotel is also close to freight tracks and a flight path - due to the noise level, external influences were clearly audible. For these reasons I couldn't sleep properly at night, which was also due to the extremely cheap bed where you could clearly feel the steel springs.Talk about cheap. According to the room description I should have air conditioning, a desk and Sky.There was no air conditioning, Sky didn't work because there was no CI module installed and the desk was the inside of a cupboard hanging on a wall.I've never had such a bad hotel experience and I'm shocked that rooms like this even exist. The price of 110€/night is also unjustified to the power of ten.It should also be mentioned in passing that I was accommodated in the next building.Once and never again! This hotel is on our company's blacklist!

We visited the Rhein Hotel on the occasion of a wedding celebration. The rooms were not particularly large, noisy and outdated. We found the price clearly too high. However, the breakfast was good.We wouldn't come again if we could avoid it.

This hotel is the best, I stayed here back in the late 80’s with my parents as we moved to the nearby base. When planning this trip, I wanted to make sure we stayed here again. And not disappointed, the family run and staff were wonderful, food great! I highly recommend. The room is amazing as well. Thanks for such a great visit!

If you visit Nierstein, Germany, THIS is the place you want to stay. The rooms are incredibly beautiful. Everything is electronic, the shades in the windows, the A/C on the wall, the bidet. The shower and bath tub are beautiful and very relaxing. The art on the wall in room 11 above the bed depicts a local winery and their vineyard. The elegant touch to the rooms add beautiful charm. The terrace at the hotel is the only one in Nierstein that faces the Rhine River. The seating outside has incredible views of the river just right across the street. The food, the drinks, the wine is exquisite. The view has no comparison anywhere else. The service and staff are impeccable! The hotel has been there since 1908 and has been handed down from generation to generation. They are now on their 4th generation. The gentleman who owns the hotel is very personable along with everyone who works there. The food is amazing and their breakfast array of foods is beyond comparison. A charming, comfortable, pleasant stay. I highly recommend this hotel. 5 stars!
