Beautiful surroundings and nice and quiet, but really not satisfied with the campsite and the service!We arrived at the camper place in the evening. The machine indicated that we were staying for 1 night.Then you could rent a card for €5 (you get this €5 back when you leave) on which you can put money for water and electricity. We put €4 on it for electricity and the water tap at the camper place.We were then asked if we wanted to use the 'washing place' for €5. We wanted this to shower (we had a toilet in the camper).Now it turns out that the €5 for the laundry room is only to open the door for the toilet at night. The door is open during the day and everyone can enter for free to use the toilet... You also pay 40 cents per minute for the shower.So I advise everyone not to click on the €5 for sanitary facilities!!Very misleading. I would like to request the campsite to change the text on the machine to 'toilet use' instead of 'washing place'.Thank you!

Great, problem-free campsite right on the Fulda. Beautiful pitches and area. Sanitary facilities clean. To the center of Kassel either 30 minutes on foot or by bus, stop in front of the CP. Great connection.

The motorhome parking space is so cramped, close together, the further back the closer you have to stand.OK for one night, but no more, emptying the chemical toilet across the street on the campsite!Really expected more from Kassel.

The campsite is very nice for motorhomes. The parking space in front of the barrier is very narrow.

Stayed in the Wohnmobilparkplatz. The chemical waste is just beyond the barrier in the camp ground opposite along with more recycling options. Here you find an automatic payment machine with various options. We stayed one night. Instructions in German and English are provided. It is a 30 minute walk to town and possibly much more. Bus, Taxi, bike or electric scooter would be advantageous. Whilst the construction is ongoing walking can be risky. I did see someone crash their electric scooter into a workman's barrier. They had been using the section for 'pedestrians only' along with the cyclists who didn't fancy using the road. The proper footpath is partially closed. Direction signs for pedestrians to points of interest are needed here. Currently these are either inadequate or non existent. Following Google Maps can lead to dead ends as I discovered. The campground is signed with the motorhome symbol so getting here is at least straight forward from the E7. On the whole I'd give this Wohnmobilparkplatz an excellent rating. We were set up in no time. Perfect place to stop between Lübeck and Rothenburg.

Highly recommended, great place with very nice, well-kept furnishings and a beautiful location right on the Fulda. Sanitary top, clean and comfortable - individual wash/shower cubicles without gender separation (but toilets are). Staff very friendly. Connection to public transport, bread roll service, snack bar on site.

Very nice parking space!We stayed on the pitch for one night for €15. You can simply book the sanitary facilities next door at the campsite for an additional €5 at the machine if required! A deposit of €5 is also paid for the card for electricity and water! You add credit to the card, which is used for water, showers and electricity at the corresponding columns. Anything you don't need in the end will be returned to your card on the day of departure!So we paid €22.50 for everything.I don't understand why you have to pay extra for showering.Bread rolls can be ordered at reception for the next day. There is a food truck at the campsite!You can quickly reach the city center by bike or on foot. Clear recommendation!Sanitary facilities are really nice! Access with card!Sewage, garbage, WZ disposal and water and electricity on site!

We were only there for one night and luckily got a free place. We liked it and slept peacefully. We were able to use the disposal and disposal unhindered. The (long) way into the city took us through the beautiful Karlsaue with an impressive orangery. We'll definitely come back!
