From the outside the entire facility looks very good. The individual houses on the farm also look attractive. Parking spaces at the front of the yard are not so good as the stones are already being lifted up by huge trees. The rooms are simply furnished. Closet small and partly without doors. Beds very low with wooden edges but mattresses firm. Bathroom inside and small but walk-in bedrooms for us anyway. No hooks for towels, almost no shelf, there might be a missing cupboard/shelf under the sink. Ventilation may be there but it doesn't work...Breakfast is good and sufficient. The breakfast room was too small and cramped for many people. Unfortunately, people sat on the adjacent terrace in the morning and evening, talked loudly and, above all, smoked, even though the guest rooms had a window directly there - a no-go.Some of the waitresses were annoyed or didn't know anything when you asked them something. But thank you very much to our dear waitress, who took care of it immediately when the access to the rear parking lot was not yet clear after a wedding. She also served us well in the tavern in the evening - great. It was inexplicable to us why towels were changed every day, even those that weren't on the floor. There were 2 cleaning ladies cleaning a small bathroom at the same time, what a waste of time... No possibility to grab water or anything else when breakfast was over. Too bad

We were there at the weekend and overall dissatisfied. We had booked a room from Friday and had arranged to meet friends for dinner in Mainz in the evening. Due to traffic jams, we called the hotel and asked what the latest check-in time would be, as we wouldn't be able to check in before dinner. After a long discussion, the receptionist explained to us that we could check in until 10:30 p.m. At this point someone would still be available in the restaurant. Based on this statement, we left Mainz at 10 p.m., only to discover that there were several safes in front of the hotel. Apparently to deposit room keys. We don't know why we weren't allowed to use it and instead had to end the evening at 10 p.m. The next day we were asked to park our car outside; there would be a big celebration that evening. This celebration kept us awake half the night. A DJ played very loudly until 12 o'clock at night and then the guests stood in the courtyard and chatted for another 2 hours. We were unlucky that our window faced the courtyard. The rooms are very small, have no air conditioning and unfortunately it was a very hot night. Of course we were not informed about this celebration when booking. However, when we checked out we weren't even asked if everything was OK. The complex itself is nice and the location is good, but after these experiences we will not book there again.

Very good food, really top quality and taste.Service was unfortunately very inattentive… later nobody came out to take drinks or simply ask if you needed something/wanted to pay. While someone was still eating, the plates were already cleared away. Unfortunately that was very unpleasant. In short, the service could copy something from the kitchen.
