Small hotel carefully kept and clean.Responders very kind and available by phone. There is parking on the property or possibly along the street. Excellent for staying a few nights near Hanau, recommended!

We stayed here when England played in Frankfurt. Hanau station is a tram ride from the hotel but quite easy. We arrived and had three rooms booked. It's more like someone's house than a hotel but nicely done. …

No smoke detector, mold on the shower seals, drain at the front instead of the back. No service, spider on the ceiling only for insect lovers, few hooks in the bathroom (like everywhere). Otherwise the room was nice with a quiet terrace.

GREED OF MONEY instead of HEARTBLOODAn unfriendly and dubiously run hotel. MONEY GREED is in the foreground. I have known the Hotel Brunnenhof for 36 years. Until a few years ago, the house was privately owned and was run very well by the owner - in a friendly and obliging manner - in a word, with HERZBLUT. When I didn't live in Hesse yet, I always liked staying at the Hotel Brunnenhof. However, that was a long time ago.As a person from Hanover, I was always happy to arrange a room at the Hotel Brunnenhof for business friends and acquaintances. The hotel has been run by SK-Hotels GmbH for several years. I didn't know that when, with my consistently positive attitude, I started arranging 6 rooms for 11 overnight guests for one or two nights in spring 2023.The hotel is run absolutely dubiously and can no longer be recommended in any way. Keywords at the end of the review. The participants of our family reunion who stayed at the Brunnenhof through my intervention will, without exception, never book in this hotel again. My family members are completely right in their assessment: There are also other hotels in Steinheim and Hanau: friendly and reputable hotels.Some of my guests stayed in a barrier-free hotel in Steinheim. Since there is no breakfast at the Brunnenhof, this hotel in Steinheim's old town has taken over the job of the Brunnenhof and is happy to serve the hungry overnight guests with breakfast.The complaints only arose after we had moved into the rooms. Just keywords: Unjustified cancellation costs (due to a death). Reception not occupied - no contact person on site. No breakfast. Completely excessive amount for overnight stays for pets. Very non-transparent pricing (see our own website.)I may write a separate review on the topic of “breakfast”. Possibly also on the topic of “accommodation contract”.As already said: Never again at Hotel Brunnenhof!!!

Contrary to what is stated on the website, the hotel no longer offers breakfast. This borders on fraud. There is no contact person on site, just a key box. The name hotel is quite cheeky.

Absolutely unfriendly & rude!The operator was incredibly rude on the phone. In the morning my company requested a cancellation because the customer may have wanted to cancel my assignment.This was rejected by the hotel, which I can completely understand.Wanted to check in in the afternoon - which is only possible via the telephone & key box, no staff on site. I was then asked on the phone what I wanted to do here and that it was impossible for me to show up there now.As if I could personally do something for the company & the customer who want to cancel! That's just not how you talk to a guest over the phone!!Then I looked at the room:Not clean, stuffy and warm, half of the mattress was sticking out, bed sheets were way too small which also left an unsightly impression.I started my stay.Definitely not recommended!

ATTENTION UNSERIOUS: Bad experiences made. The room was NOT clean, the mattress was halfway out, the bed sheet was much too small, which also left an unhygienic impression. The operator was very unfriendly. There was no contact person on site. I didn't even start my stay after entering the room. Cancellation was refused. What is also interesting was that on the phone they asked for 100 euros per night (there is no breakfast offered in the hotel). Later (on the same day) they found the room online for 79 euros and on his website for 70 euros. I feel cheated! ! It's a shame for these experiences, I can NOT recommend this hotel!! We would be happy about improvements. Please think carefully, be careful when booking and learn from my mistake.

The room was quite large and clean, a kettle, coffee/tea powder and 2 bottles of water were available. Check in by phone with key issue via machine was fine.With outside temperatures in the minus range, it was icy cold in the room too. We first had to turn the heating up, but it didn't get really warm.But leaving this morning was an absolute nonsense. Although freezing rain was forecast for the night the evening before, no measures were taken by the operator. All the steps and platforms as well as the runner were as smooth as glass (at 7:30!) Carrying the suitcases down was very dangerous and certainly impossible for many people. In order to finally bring the suitcases down I had to walk down on the snow next to the path because it wasn't possible on the path!
