So purely in terms of the location, it's a miserable walk, but to be honest. The service was great, they were always friendly and were always available to answer any questions. The room was small but it was well equipped and the bed was comfortable, the food was always warm, there was nothing to complain about, the gym was also very well equipped and I can't say anything about the wellness area, unfortunately I was there not. But there was no sign of mold in the room. Otherwise I can only warmly recommend the hotel.

I was looking for a cheap place to stay for one night... And I would have liked to stay longer.Room with balcony, river view. Everything clean and functional. The next morning we asked for breakfast, which wasn't a problem at all.Everyone very nice. Parking space at the house.I'd love to come back, just for longer 😃

We stayed in the hotel for two nights and are unfortunately very disappointed with our stay.The positive first: The hotel has a nice location and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. But that was it.A house:The hotel is very old. The outdoor area is very unkempt and overgrown.Room:The room was very run down. It was dirty and dark. In addition to cobwebs and thick flakes of dust in the corners, under the bedside table and under the bed, we also found personal items such as a toothpick, tick-tock and crumbs from the previous person. The walls, which were once white, are now heavily dirty and stained. The furniture was damaged and the bed was full of unsightly stains. We also found leftovers from the predecessor in the toilet. Simply disgusting.Noise level:In addition, the room doors are not soundproof, so we heard all the conversations in the hallway as if the people were standing in our room. This significantly disrupted sleepPrices:We found the parking fee of EUR 10 per day to be unreasonable. The 10 EUR per person for access to the wellness area and the additional 20 EUR for a small dog are also completely excessive for what is on offer.Conclusion:The house doesn't deserve the name hotel. From our point of view, it's more of an overpriced, dirty place. Even if the staff is really friendly and the location is great, we unfortunately cannot recommend the hotel as it is so dirty and at least the rooms and facilities are not urgently renovated.

Unfortunately the rooms are a disaster. We had a room above the wellness department. The floor (laminate) is partially swollen, the skirting boards are completely destroyed and moldy. The sink had a crack in which the dirt had already settled. Shower cubicle didn't close properly. The wardrobe was crooked and didn't close well. Interior door fitting was missing. Overall, carelessly furnished. It is also very loud, the doors don't seem to be insulated, so you can hear every step in the hallway.The concept continued to gain acceptance in the wellness area. Sauna door was stuck, sauna benches didn't seem stable. We can't say anything about the swimming pool.Breakfast... Well. Hunting sausage and mortadella, Gauda. A little fresh cucumber and tomato. Very reduced, which isn't a bad thing in principle, but it's bottom drawer in terms of quality.After we pointed out that the Jadgwurst had very different colors, the Jagwurst was immediately swapped for Paprikalyoner.The staff is quite friendly, the location is sensational. Unfortunately, that doesn't outweigh the overall poor ambience of the room.

Set beside a river, I woke up to the sound of a cat meowing. People were fishing on a walking trail by the river. I got to watch them while I ate breakfast for 17€.The bathroom made no sense. Shower door leaked. Could sit on the toilet without running into a wall.I arrived late (10pm) and there was a note describing how I could get my room key. I finished check-in in the morning. The system worked well.

5 km behind Kassel on the Fulda in the direction of Hann Münden. A beautiful place to stay with very good cuisine and your own drinks to quench your thirst. Tip.

A small, lovingly run hotel with many extras such as a sauna raft, a very well-equipped fitness room, salt water pool, water sports, etc.The staff is very friendly, to give one example, the waiter informed each guest individually and personally whether they would like another coffee before the coffee machine was cleaned for the evening and then turned off. A very good price/performance level and therefore a clear recommendation for a nice weekend in Kassel.

Nice areaPrices have risen well, 3 pieces of cake and 3 small waters 24€Service staff are rarely seen, after waiting 15 minutes I went in and then paid.The lady sat behind the counter and preferred to play around on her cell phone. That's why there was a €0 tip.Many guests looked for the waitress.

The hotel is old but beautiful and in an absolutely great location. Right in the forest and on the Fulda. The rooms are small, but clean and functional at an unbeatable price. The red cat's visits to our room were our highlight here. We like to come back again and again. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and catered for every taste.
