The room smelled like someone had washed a dog in it. I had to sleep with the window open to get some fresh air, so it was loud and chilly all night. The carpet was filthy and the room was generally in bad shape.The next morning, I discovered someone sleeping in the hallway in front of my room. I alerted the receptionist to this and he reacted quickly. Upon check-out, he explained with a big grin that it was a regular guest who had arrived early and wasn't able to check in, so it was 'all ok'.There must have been a high demand in Frankfurt that week because the room cost €236 for one night, which is beyond exorbitant for a hotel with a 1.5-2 star quality.

The hotel is dirty and absolutely unsuitable for families. There is no air conditioning and not even fans to combat the heat. Internet is either unavailable or extremely slow. The smell of cigarettes and marijuana is everywhere. The bathroom is shared with other guests. I strongly advise against staying overnight there.

Under no circumstances should the hotel be visited by a family, especially families with children.We cleaned the room ourselves and it wasn't cleaned during our stay. A dozen alcoholics sat in front of the hotel and were still shouting until 2am.

The hotel seems “worn” to me.I had the following defects:- room door gets stuck when closing (if you don't pull hard it's open)- Window can hardly be opened/closed because it is broken- non-smoking room smells strongly of old smoke- unkempt and run-down bathroom- Carpet has holes- Cleanliness could be better (not dramatic but could be better).- 3/4 of the television channels have no signal (including the big ones like ARD, rtl, etc.) - they advertise with sky- Internet was very slow and measured around 5 MBit in the eveningAnd lots of little details that complete the lovelessness,- cheapest veneer furniture- Kettle with cups but no tea bags or Nescafé- 4 different hangers- no bedside light, room light can only be turned off at the entrance.

It's probably going to close. There is no other way to explain it... From the staircase to the balconies a decadence... I don't think it is difficult for a hotelier to "spend" some money on a painting of walls and railings.Torn beds, bloated furniture, bloated and cracked and false-studded doors, hair dryer that didn't work, dirty carpets, shower from the stone age and broken (replacement cost €10 😂 ) and much more..Far simply... better in a Hostel... your money will get more bang for your buck...

The negative reviews are exaggerated!I will visit it again if I am there. Baby extra bed was also provided (clean), parking space and internet were also available!You can definitely book the hotel! For the money I didn't expect it to be so good.Staff was very very friendly!!!!!Rooms were clean!

Very aged bedroom. No refurbished for decades. Some strange smelling. Very close from downtown, but close to the railway station. I didn't feel safe. During the L+B fair the price has been multiplied by 4 and wo the breakfast !! Don't stay to the himalaya hôtel.

The room was not nice. Basic but in my opinion they should remove the carpet and do a good exchange of air. What's the use. The staff were very kind. The breakfast was decent, basic but right. And the room which didn't satisfy me.
