Rooms not too big, but OK.Unfortunately, we discovered many small bugs in the room during our stay.Breakfast is quite simple - there were no rolls left.Only filter coffee included in breakfast - cappuccino etc. cost extra

Large, spacious and beautiful winery. Impressive backdrop.Rating as a hotel: Suite (2 rooms) with large bathroom (room no. 10). Everything chic and clean.Unfortunately there was none on the first evening (of three) and the next morning! warm water. Unfortunately there is no phone number to request help. So off through the courtyard to the reception. Information: “Have to wait for caretaker”. However, my request to call the caretaker (it was around 7:45 a.m.) instead of waiting was granted. He came shortly afterwards and looked at the matter, but there seemed to be no immediate remedy in sight. I then asked if we could have a bathroom from a free room so that we could start the day. We were then able to do the same. Shortly afterwards the caretaker kindly informed us that the fuse had been reinserted and hot water would be available again. Friends of ours had similar problems in another room. There the water temperature changed from very cold to very hot and in the end it stayed completely away.Unfortunately, our large rain shower head was broken and the water sprayed on all sides. There is no place to put soap and shampoo in the beautiful, large shower cubicle. The suite also lacks hooks for clothes, bags, backpacks, etc. to hang up. Only two chairs and five hangers and a shelf in the closet for 2 people. A window handle was loose and a curtain rail was broken. Here the curtain fell down when it was opened. There is no decoration (pictures) on the walls - a shame!

The hotel is beautifully located, on the outskirts of Eltville am Rhein, a few meters from the Rhine. |We booked a junior suite and were of course full of expectations! …

Nice hotel, very conveniently located, a bit noisy from the street. |You would actually have to write three reviews, one for the restaurant, one for the winery and one for the conference hotel. …

The property makes a neglected impression - large, dusty, unpaved open spaces in front of the hotel and restaurant are not very attractive. I can't understand why the couch in a junior suite is in an adjoining room and the television is placed far down in front of the bed. Otherwise, the sleeping comfort was very good and the bathroom/shower was also very large and clean. The breakfast buffet was very "clear" - unusual for a winery hotel was that there was no sparkling wine at breakfast next to the juices - just an observation compared to other winery hotels. A novelty for us was that we were charged an extra 7 euros for 2 cappuccinos for breakfast. We have never experienced this in a hotel. Conclusion: There are other more attractive hotels in the Rheingau.
