A great place for a school trip.The area in the forest invites you to play.You don't need a lot of program, because the children can keep themselves busy here and finally have time to play in nature. The youth hostel team is very friendly and tries to fulfill all wishes.Thanks for that!

Right next to the forest, wonderful nature, lots of opportunities for children. Good and plentiful food. Very nice employees. You immediately feel comfortable and welcome.

Great youth hostel for school trips and youth trips! Varied, exciting terrain for children. Optional disco room to rent.The food was great for a JH! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would be happy to recommend this JH.

Beautifully located youth hostel with direct access to the forest. Perfect for nature enthusiasts of all ages. Food and rooms are typical for youth hostels, everything is clean and well maintained. Super nice and helpful people there. The only deduction is due to zero public transport connection. Walk 20-30 minutes to the train station with luggage. However, anyone who goes up the mountain by bike or car will enjoy the peace and quiet and the view of the valley.

We had a great short stay here as a couple with a child. Particularly noteworthy is the location in the forest, a bit away from the city, which, in addition to the stream, also offers a lot of opportunities for children to play on adventures, as long as the children are either supervised accordingly or they are already big enough. Service and friendliness are great

We were in Grävenwiesbach in May with three classes from year 3. We really liked it. The rooms were clean and the facilities were sufficient for our needs. The food was great and the youth hostel team was very friendly and committed. We had booked the forest adventure and were very satisfied with it. The area alone with the stream and lots of play opportunities for the children would have been almost enough. We would come back at any time!

We just spent 3 days on a school trip with 3 3rd year classes in Grävenwiesbach. A very friendly team at reception, courteous, thoughtful and simply great.The food was chosen appropriately for the children.The rooms are OK, not new but functional, clean and tidy. Likewise the sanitary facilities.For children, the area is a large adventure playground, which is very pleasant even in hot temperatures thanks to the forest.We also booked the forest program and had competent management in Simone, who was also pleasant to deal with the children.We were very satisfied and would like to come back.Thank you

We were there with two classes on a school trip and can recommend the youth hostel 100%! We arrived by train and walked from the train station (exhausting for some students, but everyone managed it). We thought it was great that the class was first welcomed and instructed and then the teachers from the different schools were introduced to each other. This way you already know each other should problems arise (there is space for a total of 5 classes in the building).The organization and coordination was excellent, but the staff was flexible and uncomplicated. The rooms are absolutely fine for a school trip, the teachers' rooms are even very nice :)Our students had a lot of fun with the booked program, so the price was worth it. The supervisors were really good and responded well to our difficult students. We took away a lot of good memories!We definitely want to come back.

... I am not experienced in youth hostels, but I found the WE with the kIDS to be completely consistent:… cool location (located on the edge of the forest)… good food (statement from the kids)…. good beds (… because they are long and therefore ok for people taller than 1.90 m)and friendly staff!

We had a very nice family weekend in Grävenwiesbach (19 people, ages 1.5 to 80, everything was there). The team on site is super nice and helpful. The rooms are great and there are plenty of opportunities for excursions.

The staff is super nice, helpful and always approachable during office hours.The food is simple but good (could occasionally use a little more herbal spice).It is important that the house rules are adhered to, but agreed exceptions are not a problem.We had a lot of changes when booking in advance, but that wasn't a problem either. That's why we're happy to overlook the few small errors that there were.I would be happy to come back there with my group at any time.
