I, the grandma, have been to this youth hostel several times. My granddaughter, 8 years old, was here for the first time. She thought it was so great that we will book for 2025 as soon as possible.The rooms are well and adequately furnished, very clean. There are brooms, hand brushes and dustpans in the hallway so you can do a quick sweep. I think that's great.The food was very tasty and sufficient. There was a buffet for breakfast and dinner. There was bread and rolls, butter, various jams, as well as honey from the JH, various types of sausage, yoghurt (also soy and lactose-free), tomatoes and cucumber slices, various cereals. Coffee, various teas, milk and always sparkling water or cold tea. In the evening there was warm food (two different dishes) and salad, bread, sausage, cheese and dessert for guests with half board (as long as they didn't eat at lunch).The staff in the house were very friendly and always helpful. We were very surprised (and also pleased) that Ms. Fuchs recognized us. It felt like she was always there when we were there.What was funny for us was that the Berlitz language camp was back, including Jabu, who was there on our first visit 14 years ago. Back then he really impressed my youngest son (now 18 years old).So all in all, this JH is our beloved second HOME. Thank you for this always good stay.LG Claudi(a) and SaraFina from Saarland. Very nice staff both at reception and in the kitchen.The food was fabulous.The rooms were clean and quietApart from the school classes with age-appropriate children and young people, the youth hostel is a highly recommended place to stay overnight with very good food and very committed staff

Not far from the (old) town of Limburg, so you can easily walk there.We were there for the second time with a large group (approx. 40 people, family meeting). Everything worked very well.

Beautifully located youth hostel, my room was clean and had a bathroom. Unfortunately I had to leave early. But the food was really very good with a fresh salad buffet.

A terrible hostel, not even a hostel, but a bug infestation in the most literal sense! My son returned from a school trip on Friday, July 19, all bitten by bedbugs! And no need to say that you are often praised for cleanliness and the administration has no idea that there are bedbugs in the hostel. You read the reviews and are even more surprised by the answers to them.All the children were bitten and the teachers were told about this, but they assumed that the children had been bitten by fleas. 🤣 as if fleas are normal. Although for a hostel where you can spend the night with dogs it might be ok.The doors to the room did not close, the locks were broken. Maybe the lack of locks prompted someone to steal. Money was stolen from children: some €5, some €20.The shower was shared throughout the entire corridor, but it was stated that the shower and toilet were in the room.In another room, my classmates had dirty beds, with blood stains, and the room also did not close.Terrible!Only after the parents’ letter, the teacher wrote to the hostel and notified that there are bedbugs in the hostel, which, by the way, can be carriers of diseases such as hepatitis B, Staphylococcus aureus .. and these bedbugs can “move” in a suitcase, with things to your house .It's terrible that children suffer from all this!

We regularly hold a music camp at this youth hostel. We all always feel good! Forest around to play. The staff is super nice. And the Chef Koch (Chefkochabi), as one of the children called him, really makes the most of the resources he has!! Greetings.

I entered the room and everything seemed normal at first glance but once night fell bloodstains were visible it was disgusting, it was my first time in a youth hostel and I certainly won't go back there , the showers were nevertheless clean but in the canteen for meals the dishes were limited there was only one choice so either you eat because you like the dishes or you don't eat.I'm not even talking about the noise of the wild young people playing music non-stop, no security system the bedroom doors remain open 4 shared showers only we think we are in public housing with the housewives who gossip and look you up and down …

We think we're in the Middle Ages, we all have to clean and even make the beds ourselves, maids are present except that they don't do anything and just talk among themselves. The food has no taste and there is not much choice, the floor is dirty everywhere, no one cleans, the communal showers were very unpleasant and the hot water takes 40 years to arrive……..
