The three-course menu on Sunday, September 8th, 2024 for 45 euros was indescribably good. The Vogelsberger top steak was delicately pink and perfectly seasoned. The sauce was incredibly flavorful. All the side dishes as well as the starter and dessert were incredibly harmonious. It doesn't get any better. The atmosphere in the restaurant is upscale and the chairs are very comfortable. There is only one tiny point of criticism, the beer garden could be even nicer.

Yesterday we spontaneously asked for a table in the beer garden with three people and were complimented extremely unfriendly by an older woman. Extremely rude.Answer to their answer: We didn't come from Frankfurt, apparently they have other potential guests that extremeTreated in a friendly manner. Maybe think about the word “guest”.

I called the Post restaurant on Sunday to ask if you could also order food to take away. I wouldn't have expected that I would be dismissed like that with 4 words when the reviews were actually good. The lady I had on the phone to politely ask if I could order takeaway food only said 4 words "no, we're full" I was totally perplexed and replied that I didn't want a seat in her restaurant, I just wanted Ask if you can also order take-away food from you. Then again only the 4 words came: "No, we are full. (It's not a joke, she really said that). I couldn't do anything with this answer and asked if I could even order take-away food from you, and you replied." "Maybe on Wednesday" and hung up. Wow. I then thought about whether I might have spoken to an answering machine, but even they are friendlier. I have never experienced such unfriendliness. That is simply unbelievable. I will never enter this restaurant again .

The food is very delicious, the scenery and space are very beautiful, clean and airy.The price is a bit high compared to other restaurants, but the quality is very good.👍The staff is very friendly and polite.It would be better for both parties if the staff asked the customer for the voucher before paying. Then, after the waitress brought out the bill, she realized the customer had a coupon, had to reissue the bill, and then expressed a slightly negative attitude toward the customer.Staff should ask customers for vouchers before topping up.Maybe because she was tired, the waitress rarely smiled.🤔Apart from this somewhat sensitive topic, everything is very good here, if I have the opportunity I will come back to eat.🥰

Today we ate here again. The restaurant has been newly renovated. Congratulations on the successful restoration. Unfortunately the menu has changed to the detriment of us, an older couple. With two exceptions, the main courses are only pork and beef in different variations. That was more varied. There is a lack of poultry in various variations. Yes, we know that people in the country only like to eat pork, etc. But, as a multi-award-winning restaurant, vegetarians and vegans should also be able to enjoy it.

Super delicious food, very friendly staff! Beer, wine, meat, vegetables, homemade ice cream. Everything was super successful! We would like to come more often, sometimes the menu is a bit too unusual for us, but that's a matter of taste. We are really looking forward to the next time!

The service at the Gasthof Zur Post was friendly, courteous and we were given good advice. Two possible vegan dishes with seasonal ingredients were suggested to us. We really enjoyed these and were much more unusual and sophisticated than vegan offerings in other restaurants. We also particularly liked the fact that everything is clearly explained on the menu, that many dishes state where the ingredients come from and that the dishes change regularly and are very seasonal.The wine we drank was also very good. There were also non-alcoholic alternatives.We'd love to come back!

The food was very tasty. The service was very nice. The portions were a bit too small for us, after a salad main course and ice cream we were still hungry. We were there with 6 men and everyone felt the same way. It's also a shame that the wheat beer comes from the bottle at such a good location. We would have liked to drink more but in 3 hours we only had 3 drinks each.
