An old mill in the middle of a green landscape, lovingly renovated and just nice, super tasty and friendly with a lot of attention to detail. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and are already looking forward to next year!

A little piece of home.The mill, Weilo and his wife, everything was great. It wasn't the last time I was there. A dream👍👍👍👍👍👍👍Well, a year has passed and we made it happen, we were back. We were there with 9 people over the weekend and had a really good time. The host is a sociable guy and finds a good mix between presence and absence. The food was super tasty and very regional. The absolute highlight late at night was the Jaccousie. You can spend your time here...

We were guests with 14 men from Frankfurt and we were all really excited about the Hitzmühle's offerings!You really have absolute peace and quiet and can really switch off, but also party hard! The accommodation, which is really lovingly furnished and has been (!) expanded and converted, offers everything you need to feel comfortable. The large garden is beautifully landscaped and when the weather is good you can relax, play games, jump in the stream, sit around the campfire and much more. If it does rain, you have great covered opportunities to be together. Absolutely worth mentioning is the hospitality of Peter and Biggi, who are really very nice and helpful and have a lot of trust in you, which is absolutely to be appreciated! They are happy when the guests are having a good time, which is exactly what we felt! All 14 of us agreed that we have rarely, if ever, had food as good as it was this weekend. We regularly dream about the spinach dumplings! We would definitely like to come back either with our men's group or with our families to have a great time and be pampered. Thanks for that and best regards from FFM!

Very tastefully renovated main house. Dream garden with lots of opportunities to sit, sunbathe and chill right by the river. Incredibly nice operator couple. The highlight is Peter's cooking skills. The only minor drawback: there is a road close by, but there is little traffic.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Hitzmühle to celebrate a birthday. With more than 15 guests, we had plenty of space and were given an exceptionally warm welcome by Biggi and Peter. Not only did they cook for us, but they also fulfilled all of our requests.We are very grateful to have found such a great place that is run by wonderful people.The Hitzmühle is truly unique, has charm and heart.We definitely plan to come back. Absolutely recommended!

We have just come home from a wonderful weekend with the extended family in the Hitzmühle! The location is a hit and we can only recommend it! Inside and out, incredibly special, lovingly restored, comfortably designed and extremely well maintained. Peter and Birgit are also the most relaxed and friendly hosts you could wish for. You can feel their love for their place and what they do. They cooked for us fantastically, catered to our every wish and made a significant contribution to ensuring that everyone, without exception, felt very comfortable! Thank you both ❤️! We'll definitely be back!

We spent a family weekend here and it couldn't have been nicer. Biggi & Peter are the best! You made our stay something very nice and special with your hospitality, your magical house & garden and the amazing food (very high quality products). I celebrated my 30th birthday with the whole family at the mill and would do it again at any time, absolutely recommended! The mill is so beautiful and has been restored with great attention to detail and you just feel right at home. Biggi and Peter are the best hosts you can imagine - open, warm, easy to love! They spoiled us with delicious, fresh and regional food. Large selection and something for every taste. A highlight was the campfire and the hot tub in the evening with champagne under the starry sky!What's particularly nice is that you have a lot of space - both inside the mill, for example on the comfortable wing chairs by the stove, and outside. You can relax on the hammocks and let the sun shine on your face and listen to the stream babbling. Idyll, peace and pure nature! Thank you very much for everything! We are already looking forward to next timeI'm excited to see how big your sweet kittens got :)

Excellent accommodation & an even better host. We had a great weekend, including a fabulous barbecue evening and breakfast. Peter looked after us brilliantly the entire time and fulfilled our every wish - without even attracting attention. In summary, a wonderfully relaxed location - can only be recommended and would be happy to come back again at any time! :-)

We had a wonderful bachelorette party here. The accommodation was super clean and comfortable. Peter & Biggi were always there for us and helped us with everything we needed. The food was also incredibly tasty and any intolerances were taken into account.Since there are no houses around the mill, we could be as loud as we wanted without worrying. This really made our stay relaxing and fun.We felt completely comfortable in the Hitzmühle and would definitely book it again and again. It was an unforgettable stay and we can highly recommend this accommodation!

Very lovingly furnished old mill. The hosts Biggi & Peter took good care of us.The rich breakfast and dinner sizzled on the grill were very tasty. In the morning there was a smoothie to wake up after the strenuous evenings...The rooms are very nicely decorated and there is something new to discover everywhere.Sanitary facilities, everything new and stylishly decorated.We had a lot of fun, thank you so much for everything you two!Best regardsMarinko

We had a wonderful time at our family weekend in the Hitzmühle. The mill has been lovingly restored and very comfortably furnished. Particularly noteworthy is the fantastic food. Great value is placed on quality and regionality here. Both breakfast and dinner were simply phenomenal. Great recommendation and be sure to book the other meals as well. Peter and Biggi are great hosts and we felt more than comfortable. Thank you very much, we'll be back!
