The seats in the restaurant were all reserved, you got 5 and you had a reservation for 4.He was very nice to you and offered you the car seat, but unfortunately you wanted the entire restaurant to be yours. They had to call to say there were 5 people.

Unfortunately very disappointed, we had reserved for 4 people and also had our 9-month-old baby with us. It was probably a huge problem to provide a children's chair because it would supposedly disturb the guests. Although only 2 tables in the entire restaurant were occupied. The service was very unfriendly in this regard. The guests had no problem with it at all, were very friendly and weren't bothered by it.The food was good, but unfortunately we had to order our coke 3 times because we kept forgetting it. Unfortunately for us it was the first and last time!

We ate at the Schwan restaurant two weeks ago. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. I had a baked potato that was way too small for a baked potato in my opinion. It wasn't particularly tasteless either.

Schnitzel to fill you up - Sunday. Unfortunately not for eating well. Schnitzel and fried potatoes were very greasy and one of the two sauces tasted rancid. In addition, the service seemed very strange and stressed to me. Wouldn't eat there again

Great little German restaurant… Worth the trip to Höchster. Laid back and good service.Food was fantastic. Definitely get the schnitzel. For the English speaking visitors (like me). The fried meat loaf is not a meat dish, it’s a hard boiled egg and fries potato dish. Still yummy but no meat :(

Based on a recommendation, we met up with friends at the Gasthaus Zum Schwan in Dillenburg to eat schnitzel. We reserved the table a day in advance. When we arrived we were assigned a table in the small dining room (directly to the right of the entrance). The food came quickly and we all enjoyed it very much. The portions are very large. The schnitzels were thin, large and crispy. There were also fried potatoes, fries, side salad and 2 different types of sauce. For me personally, the sauces could be a little more seasoned, but it's purely a matter of taste. Service staff was friendly and nice. The meal cost 13 euros. Price-performance is very good. I can only recommend it.
