The hotel is located on a slope with a very nice view. We received a very friendly welcome. It's nice to look at from the outside, but unfortunately I can't say much else that's positive. The shower in the bathroom is full of mold! The wallpaper has been patched in many places. The windows can only be opened and closed with force. The roller shutters cannot be operated at all, they are torn off and knotted. And the hotel smells like mold?In the charm of the 70s, this hotel was only poorly renovated or not renovated at all. The bed was fine. The breakfast was plentiful, but everything was very cheap. Parking is difficult to obtain. Unfortunately I cannot recommend the hotel. The second room we were offered was only slightly better. Since we were only there for one night, we had no other choice, otherwise we would definitely have left. A renovation is strongly recommended because the price-performance ratio is not right here (1 night over 100 €/double room)I'm surprised at the many other positive reviews here...certainly not about the rooms on the ground floor.

What should I say? What a hole! That's the first thing that comes to mind. The building dates back to the 70s and hardly anything has been done to it since then. The majority of radiators don't even have thermostatic valves. We declined the first room offered because of the moldy shower. The second room was also rocked down, the bathroom still had the original tiles from the year it was built, but was significantly less moldy. The roller shutters didn't work, there was a nail sticking through the torn belt. The so-called “wellness” area is an imposition! Everything is either run down or broken. The men's locker room with two showers stank of piss. Also because the showers are moldy it doesn't work anymore. The breakfast was just from the cheapest, to the point of shame. I can only warn against this house.

Not a very nice hotel, but the rooms are quite spacious and we even have a balcony with a view of the valley. Rooms are clean, the bar is fine and the food is also good. Parking is close to the entrance, but you have to climb a few steps with your suitcases before you reach the elevator. The beer is Krombacher, which is simply delicious beer. They also have Weizen and wine. You can tap the wine yourself. That's all fine, but it's not really fun, unfortunately.
