We have been to this hotel ten times now. We arrive, the boss greets us and the stress of everyday life falls away. We feel at home.We always come back to our second home

I've been coming here for a few days with my grandchildren for a few years, mainly because of the extremely friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast and the evening menu are an absolute highlight. Special requests can be fulfilled at any time (children's meals, coffee in the room). The rooms are very large, some of them... with a nice balcony. We'd love to come back again.

Clocky, spacious, clean rooms with GDR flair. Breakfast is completely sufficient, everything you need is there, only the coffee is very thin.Great location for hiking.Very nice staff.We can only recommend the hotel.

Gohrisch and the landscape around it are very beautiful and definitely worth a trip. Unfortunately, we were unable to determine this from the Hotel Albrechtshof. It is an old, partially renovated and not lovingly decorated hotel. The hotel and the complex are half a construction site. Our room was nothing like the pictures that could be found on the website. It was uncomfortable and some of the furniture was damaged. Not a nice place to enjoy your vacation morning or evening.

Hotel is a little journey back in time to the GDR...Our room was good, spacious, enough storage space...The bathroom with tub was functional, everything was clean...We felt very welcome and comfortable.The breakfast was completely sufficient and there was something for everyone, the service was very friendly.We'll definitely be back.

Here you are transported back to the 60s/70s. The house/room is getting old, but has been partially renovated and has a lot of potential. In the middle of nature in a very quiet yet central location. We had booked a 3-bed room and have a huge apartment with an entrance area, with 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed, couch and seating, as well as a generously sized bathroom with a bathtub, shower and enough storage space.The staff is very friendly and accommodating. A breakfast buffet with everything you want and need, so it doesn't bother you that you have to walk a few meters through the park to the restaurant. There was enough parking space directly at the house.The WiFi left a lot to be desired, but since we were on vacation that wasn't really a problem. :-)

+Quiet location, large room with larger balcony. Rooms updated but not very modern. Breakfast with a lot of choice, parking spaces available directly on site.-No WiFi, no elevator.Lawn is mowed before 8 a.m. Not all hikers are early risers. ;)

The hotel is idyllically located in the countryside. Free parking spaces in the yard, some even covered. The area is getting old.Employees are friendly and approachable if you have any questions. The hygiene regulations due to Corona were observed in the hotel and at the reception.The room we had was of a good size. Contrary to the photos online with modern rooms and furnishings, ours was clearly showing its age - rather retro-chic. Balcony with a view of the greenery is good, but it is better to avoid a view of the facade of the house.My in-house WiFi didn't work at all. Own internet is also very limited.Breakfast included and as a buffet (good selection) in the nearby building, which is really in a sleeping beauty state. Overall, a pleasant stay and well located for hiking in Gohrisch or good connections to Bad Schandau.

Hotel is located in the forest, very quiet area. Bus stop right next to the hotel, very nice large rooms, modern furnishings. Very good breakfast buffet and very good 3 course menu in the evening. We felt very comfortable. I can only recommend it. The hotel still has a bit of GDR flair (curtains, lamps)

If you have a sense of nostalgia and don't have any demands for comfort, the rooms are in a nice, quiet location and are practically furnished, but you should bring pillows that are a little higher

Update: 2024 Price/performance is unfortunately no longer appropriate for a family room. Too bad.--------------------2022/2023Rustic hotel with GDR flairWe felt comfortable here. Large room, the kids ran around outside and breakfast was the basis for the day.The age and history of the house are visible. It is clean and you can see how modernity is coming into many places. But there is still a lot of work to be done.We'll definitely come back sometime. Thanks to all.

The hotel is very quiet on the edge of the forest. The rooms are beautifully furnished and clean, the bathroom is large. WiFi is only available in the entrance area; to eat you go to another house. It used to be a hotel for the GDR ministry. Nice staff and we were warmly welcomed. There are enough parking spaces. Nice area for hiking. Free use of public transport possible thanks to the tourist tax. We really liked it.

A highly recommended hotel as a starting point for hikes. The location is quiet, the rooms are clean, the bathrooms are modernized, the beds are good and the breakfast is extensive. Sufficient parking spaces at the hotel. Large outdoor area. You shouldn't expect a modern hotel, unfortunately there is hardly any WiFi in the rooms.
