As a family we have been staying at this hotel in the fall for the third year in a row. It's always extremely beautiful. The owners are very welcoming. The hotel and the rooms are very clean and in great condition. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic. There you can find dozens of homemade jams. Simply fantastic. The hotel is in a very idyllic location right next to the small market in Wehlen. A visit is highly recommended.

Very nice little hotel right on the market in Wehlen. Rooms are tidy, the bathroom is modern. Very, very good breakfast with lots of homemade jams. The owner is super nice and always takes the time to explain hiking routes in the area to guests after breakfast. We had a great time and would definitely come back

Beautiful place in the middle of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Bastei directly behind the hotel within walking distance. Königstein Fortress can be reached by ferry and S-BAHN. All places around can be reached by S-Bahn.

We had the app for a few days. Rented Bastei Blick, with a very tasty and extensive breakfast in the main building right next door. The variety and quality of the homemade spreads must be particularly emphasized here. We have never experienced the warmth and helpfulness of Mr. Schönherr and his team in this form in a hotel. We felt completely comfortable and despite the flood we had a wonderful time. Thanks to the tips from the hotel team, we were able to go on great tours with our bikes above the Elbe and in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Thanks again everyone, we'll definitely be back.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 days and are very satisfied. The owner looked after us every day and suggested excursions. The location was also very good, the breakfast was also very tasty and the rooms were clean. Highly recommended

We loved this beautiful hotel. There was nothing to complain about. We received a very friendly welcome and were given very useful tips and information for our stay. The breakfast was above average and it was clear that it was prepared with a lot of passion. We were more than satisfied and can highly recommend this hotel!

We were here in the house at the beginning of August. The first contact was great and very friendly. We were given very good advice. When we arrived at this family business we were warmly welcomed by the boss. Room clean and big enough for us. What was unfortunately missing was a refrigerator in the room. But there was one that was always full downstairs next to the reception. Then after a good and very quiet night in good beds we went to breakfast. We were very excited here. Fixed table means you don't have to wait until something is free. Buffet in full splendor with everything your heart desires. We have never experienced the selection of jam and cream cheese like this before. We also took the best spreads home with us. We were repeatedly asked if everything was OK at the table, without being intrusive or annoying. The children also got a little surprise on their plate twice tomorrow. If you want to take a tour to the boss after breakfast. He could give us great offers and explain them in an easy-to-understand way. Costs and the like were even taken into account here. Thank you very much for everything, if we come to the area again we will definitely book this hotel again. 😊

We chose this hotel because of location (small quiet town and good for walks) and based on other traveler’s recommendations. And we were not disappointed!The nicest and most helpful staff. Whether you need recommendations for good walks or have questions about the amazing jams available in the plentiful breakfast, they give more than perfect advice.The rooms are clean, quiet and have everything you need.We would grab a beer and a small bottle of wine from the honesty fridge every evening after dinner, and go to sit and watch the little ferry quietly slide back and forth across the Elbe. So day time walking/hiking and evening peace and quiet. Loved this small town and the hotel!I can only give my very best recommendation for Hotel Wehlener Hof!

Nice, well-kept hotel in Wehlen. Rooms are sufficiently large and well maintained. The location is very quiet and guarantees relaxation.The breakfast: The breakfast is awesome. Although the hotel is "only" 3 stars, the breakfast is at 5 star level. Everything here is probably made in-house. Numerous jams in a wide variety of varieties, spreads, tomato-mozzarella-basil, cucumber salad, fresh scrambled and fried eggs, various mueslis, fresh bread and rolls guarantee a great start to the day. Plus coffee, tea, juices.The breakfast room also offers a nice ambience.The owner gives you great hiking tips or suggestions for things to do every day if you want.The hotel is ideally located for getting to the national park or using public transport in all directions.We had a very good time here and would come back at any time.Thank you for everything.

A very recommendable small hotel, with very friendly staff. If necessary, there are excursion tips and recommendations for using public transport.It is really located right on the market square and everything important including the ferry can be reached in just a few minutes.What should definitely be highlighted is the breakfast, which really leaves nothing to be desired and you notice right from then on that you are welcome.

Very nice breakfast hotel.Here the jam is made with love, with at least 15 varieties to choose from at the buffet. What is striking is how little plastic waste, almost 0, is generated here at breakfast. There is an extra star for this.The host always has good tips about the place and excursions, with insider tips for taking in everything worth seeing.It was a very nice vacation and we definitely recommend this hotel.Thank you very much for the great accommodation.

Tip Top hotel in terms of cleanliness, size of the room, condition of the furnishings, friendliness of the owners, location, etc. All you can say is: great!But I was missing two things for the fifth star:- a refrigerator in the room (or, as far as I'm concerned, one for the community in the common room) in which you could put some provisions for hiking or an unfinished white wine.- I also lacked crispy rolls at breakfast (unfortunately all the baked goods were soft and crunchy) and something like a nice ham - which was sometimes available, but it was gone faster than you could see. The buffet was also sometimes heavily grazed at peak times (fried eggs...) and it took - sometimes longer than you could wait - until it was refilled. But I don't want to complain about the breakfast, a lot of it was first class and made with a lot of effort and love, but the two or three things were annoying in the long run.
