A successful surprise 🫠 for my husband for his silver wedding anniversary.He completed his training on this locomotive in 1990.Now over 30 years later we are spending the night in the driver's cab. He doesn't stop grinning at all.Everything is there, albeit cramped and spartan, but sooo real and beautiful. Coffee machine with beans, milk in the fridge, dishwashing liquid for rinsing - everything has been thought of. The hotel is of course unique and a must for every railway worker. A wonderful journey into the past. The surroundings are beautiful. You can organize yourself well throughout the day and see a lot.Service wonderful.I think we'll see each other again 😃

We are back from the Lokhotel V180 today and still can't believe what can be done with an idea 💡. We had booked the "Stellwerk" because Grandma and Grandpa were traveling with our train fan (4 years old). His bed was the highlight. With a lookout from the locomotive, he had a full view of passing trains. Everything was perfect for us, from the furnishings (with more than love for the signal box details) to the bread rolls and refrigerator service 😆 Coffee, tea, personal care utensils: everything was there. It was a great few days, great idea. Brilliant idea to make something like this out of a diesel locomotive.Great room, perfect atmosphere. It was worth the trip.

Just awesome. I'm still working on a mechanical signal box myself, so it was an experience in the signal box room in the locomotive. Lovingly furnished rooms with air conditioning and heating allow the experience to be enjoyed all year round.Breakfast is in the fridge and the boss provides fresh rolls. After getting up, they are already lying on the terrace.Another thing to mention is the friendliness.Feel free to come back and explore the other two rooms.LG Jürgen

Slightly different accommodation. We felt comfortable, well-equipped rooms, outskirts of town, recommended for a short vacation. The nearby railway line doesn't bother you either. Unfortunately you couldn't darken all the windows - otherwise it was just fine!

We were given the night for our wedding as a gift.Since our 9-year-old son is an enthusiastic locomotive fan, we of course took him with us and surprised him too.The signal box room is a dream.Furnished with so much love.The shower is a dream as well as the shampoo and shower gel.Everything has been thought of./towels, hairdryer, drying rack etc.The coffee machine is perfect.The small bed is completely sufficient for children - you can definitely dream of locomotives in it at night. Even a slim adult can sleep there. The large bed is a dream.The terrace invites you to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening.The property was very well maintained and managed with love. The breakfast was ok. But you could get a lot more for the money.But we were full.We had a great day and will definitely come again.We wish you all the best for the future and great guests who appreciate this locomotive hotel.

Great accommodation. Individual rooms created with a lot of love and passion. Quiet location and also with a terrace to relax. Very nice interior. Not just suitable for locomotive fans.

We stayed in the "Stellwerk" room with our grandson for one night in May and we were all absolutely thrilled.With so much attention to detail, everything you need to feel good has been thought of. From the coffee machine to toaster, egg cooker, refrigerator, hairdryer, towel dryer, towels, everything is available.Of course the rooms are small, but still very well equipped. Our grandson eagerly awaited every train that passed by so he could wave to the engineer, which was always reciprocated and made him rave.He also felt very comfortable in his "children's sleeping cave".It was a completely successful trip.

Really nice room, with attention to detail. It was a nice weekend and the bed was comfortable too. Breakfast was very tasty and the coffee was tasty too. You can get into the city quickly by car. Definitely worth a visit

We spent 2 nights in the train driver's room and were thrilled by the perfect symbiosis of tradition and modernity. Equipping an old locomotive with a comfortable Horel room requires courage and a good idea. This idea was implemented with great attention to detail. The service throughout the stay was perfect. The Lokhotel team made us feel welcome right from the start. And even if you're not a train fan, you'll experience absolute peace and relaxation here.
