That was the worst idea in the last 25 years, checking into this "hotel" for 4 nights! We have never come across a shop like this anywhere in Europe, and we now have experience in over a dozen countries! There's just nothing wrong here! The situation: it couldn't be worse! Right on a busy road, with a 24-hour gas station and a discount store open Mon-Sun from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., which attracts tons of motorized customers who either leave their car after 10:00 p.m want to fill up cheaply. The ambience: A place to stay through and through! The pictures on the internet, especially on the reputable booking sites, are extremely deceiving! Overgrown garden, run-down terrace, all seating consists only of raw, unupholstered wooden benches, disgusting hotel area. The service: virtually non-existent! The staff doesn't care how long something takes or what comes of it. The rooms: noisy. Dirty. Unkempt. Unhygienic. The wet area is a haven for all sorts of bacterial colonies in black, brown, white and gray. You don't live alone either, but share your room with all sorts of creatures, from spiders to silverfish to black beetles that were previously unknown to us. You get 1 (in words: ONE) towel per person per booking, no matter how many nights you stay, which doesn't deserve the name and is completely worn out. The beds are sagging, uncomfortable, creak with every movement and do not allow for a restful sleep. The bed linen is full of holes and has a strong smell. Nowadays, only really harsh cleaning products can help. The furniture is spartan and there is hardly any space to accommodate or even place travel items. The satellite TV offered is a joke! Over 30 Polish channels, but only 6 German channels (ARD, RBB, SWR and 3x MDR Regional), with lots of disruptions and total failures, and not even a kilometer behind the German-Polish border! The food: It's incomprehensible who could ever give positive reviews! Either it was actually different a long, long time ago, or we have different standards. The breakfast offered is served more or less uninspiredly on a plate and consists of 3 slices of cucumber and tomato, 3 strips of pepper, a half-cooked fried egg, a slice of cheese that is melted either by the hot egg or by the limp boiled sausage and 3 slices of cold cuts. Everything smells old and stale, as if, apart from the fried egg and boiled sausage, it was carelessly slapped onto the plate the night before. A bowl of white bread is served with it, which is apparently preserved at cold temperatures and therefore sticks to the palate in a sticky manner. To put it mildly, this breakfast, sadly framed by cheap, lukewarm long-life milk, a handful of tea bags and instant coffee, is simply a displeasure. Do mechanics who have to work all day really want to start like this? So we can definitely rule this out for holidaymakers! Nobody can approve of that! Every thaler is simply wasted, regardless of the currency! Stay away and rather sleep in the car and have breakfast at a good bakery! Would Zajazd Park really be a budget hotel; OK, sponge off it! But it's not! It's just not as expensive here as on the German side and there are even alternatives (hotels and guesthouses) in Leknica itself that make it much better than Zajazd Park! And you can't be any clearer at this point anyway
