In July 2024, our free wedding took place alongside our wedding reception with almost 40 guests in Breitenfeld Castle and we were extremely satisfied with everything.A big compliment to Ms. Koch, who accompanied us as a wedding planner from start to finish. The communication was always excellent, both at the meetings before the wedding and on the day itself. Ms. Koch is extremely professional, super personable and always had enough tips, tricks and advice for us.There was also absolutely nothing to complain about in terms of service on our wedding day. It was noticeable that every effort was made to ensure that we were looked after in the best possible way. If we needed anything else, we responded quickly and all the employees were always super friendly and open-minded.The location itself also offers everything you could want for your wedding. A beautiful castle, plenty of space inside and outside, a castle park that is really worth seeing and the hotel is in the immediate vicinity, so that guests don't have to go far at late hours.We ourselves stayed in the Romeo & Juliet suite above the castle hall and had everything we needed there. Both our suite and the guests' hotel rooms were very clean and pleasantly quiet.At the wedding buffet we were able to choose from a large selection of starters, main courses, etc. There was something for every taste and the food was truly fabulous. Supplies were brought quickly and there was plenty for everyone. We were able to cover many non-alcoholic drinks and selected cocktails with a flat rate, so we didn't have to worry about exceeding a predetermined limit.We were able to do a lot of the decoration and furnishings according to our ideas and also use some of the castle's equipment, such as an easel, scatter baskets or table numbers. Due to the good weather, we were able to have the wedding outside, so we were even able to include our dog. Although he wasn't allowed into the castle and was picked up shortly after the wedding, he was still there for an important part of our wedding.All in all, we had a wonderful day and anyone who is looking for a suitable wedding location should definitely take a look at Breitenfeld Castle. We celebrated my father-in-law's 90th birthday yesterday. It was a very nice celebration. The champagne reception took place in the rose garden with great service. The celebratory person was brought to the venue by staff in a golf cart, thank you very much.The park could be used sufficiently.The two buffets were sufficiently stocked and very tasty. The service staff looked after us attentively and Mrs Pietschmann's organization was also great. A big thank you to everyone

We celebrated our wedding at the Hotel Schloss Breitenfeld. We can only say positive things about the ambience: both the hall and the park are a beautiful location. However, we have to be critical of the price-performance ratio.At the beginning of our wedding planning it was quite difficult to arrange a viewing appointment - of course also because the demand was there and we didn't have to make an effort. The first information, appointment arrangements and cost estimates took a long time to arrive at the beginning. Shortly before the wedding, however, the arrangements and answers came quickly.On the day of the wedding: we as the bride and groom noticed very little of the discrepancies, but our guests did. For example, we have agreed on savory snacks in addition to the cake buffet. These were forgotten. Of course this can happen - where people work, mistakes happen. In this price category, however, you can expect that the kitchen will act accordingly and at least serve a few slices or something similar. We were previously dismissed with, sorry, but the cake buffet is enough. In the end there were savory snacks, but only because one of our guests went to the person in charge and asked again emphatically. We were not charged for the replacement of the savory snacks in the final bill.The dinner tasted very good. However, the buffet was not sufficiently replenished, so some guests came away empty-handed on their second round. The same applies to the candy bar, which was not refilled a second time as agreed. Regarding the drinks flat rate, this is €79 per person. P. really high without spirits. Nevertheless, as is usual with such flat rates, the service staff added sparingly, and towards the evening they hardly stopped at all. However, the spirits, which were billed based on consumption, were supplied very quickly. Drinks were not served on the terrace; you had to get them yourself inside, which was difficult to do without an indoor bar, as the service staff in the hall were difficult to find. By 1:15 a.m. (curfew 2:00 a.m.) all the tables had already been cleared away, meaning that some guests' private items, party favors and wedding magazines disappeared. The last round was also at 1:15 a.m. although the drinks package runs until 2:00 a.m.The service staff were mostly untrained assistants, some of whom did not speak German sufficiently and therefore, for example, mixed up red and white wine when ordering. In principle this is not a problem, it is just inappropriate in this price category and exclusivity. When we stayed overnight in the Romeo and Juliet Suite, there was unfortunately no air conditioning at 29 degrees inside, and the hot water in the shower didn't work. The nice comment about the hot water not working was dismissed with incomprehension. We can only recommend that other bridal couples put agreements in writing beforehand and refer to them on the evening.

We hosted our wedding celebration in the castle on August 3rd, 2024.We were extremely satisfied. The staff, the kitchen, the ambience and everything around was great.We and all our guests felt very comfortable.

Fantastic ambience and great service. Ideal for large celebrations and late at night, the bed is right in the hotel next door. Everything is great!!

Wedding locarion for up to 150 people...dance area can be moved to a separate room...elevator available

Nice hotel with very friendly and hard-working staff! Recommended as a wedding location, but the park and the mini golf course urgently need care!!!

Yesterday we celebrated our daughter's wedding to her now husband. It turned out to be a dream wedding. The organization and service were great. The friendliness and flexibility were fantastic. This day will be remembered fondly by everyone. Thank you dear team
