Of course this is an older hotel but we are not in 1980! That's how the gentleman behaved there, couldn't charge the credit card and literally tyrannized the guests! Insisting on cash payment without a valid invoice (it was a business booking) threatened the employee with expulsion! Please don't! No recommendation!

Once and never again! Has nothing to do with a hotel at all. It's more like an FDGB youth hostel from the 70s. The advertised rich breakfast buffet consisted of rubber rolls and old dry bread, as well as sausage and cheese from the supermarket next door. For the breakfast fee charged You can eat 3 times better and more extensively at Bäcker Wunsch 300m further.Rooms furnished in a spartan manner (minibar, safe, etc. not available)The beds are just as rubbery as the rolls.I've been assembling for 31 years and have never experienced anything so bad in terms of price/performance.

Everyone very friendly. An older, clean hotel, beds very good, breakfast could be better, especially with grain rolls, not just light rolls, otherwise everything was great.

I could hardly sleep here. The beds are extremely hard and the street lamp shone on the bed all night long through the slatted blinds. The windows hardly block out any street noise. When someone walked in the room above us, it felt like they were kicking our bed with every step. And unfortunately those above us only slept from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. There is no refrigerator in the room and the bathroom cannot be locked. You have to request WLAN individually for each device. The supposed free breakfast costs €8 per person, even for my 4 year old child who doesn't eat breakfast. Breakfast later than 9 was non-negotiable. And all for around €170 per night. I have never had such a bad price-performance ratio at a hotel.

I ended up here because I couldn’t find anything at all in Dresden and I would consider it only in such case. …

We stayed there one night with our dog. Unfortunately there was nothing else available. The train that you can hear runs in the area. The whole hotel has a 90s charm. The price was far too high for that. 152 euros in a 2-bed room with 7 euros for the dog, 8 euros per person for the economical breakfast with a supermarket feel in the lowest price category. It was by far the worst we've had so far. And on top of that another 7 euros because we only booked a single night. And that in a hotel. For me it's no longer up to date and completely out of place given the high room price. In our opinion, the price-performance ratio is pretty bad. We wouldn't stay here again.

I booked a room for 2 nights in mid-December 23. I was quite happy with the room. Everything was clean, everything was ok! Nice hosts and the breakfast was completely sufficient! Gladly again!

Unfortunately I have to leave a negative review here.I spontaneously booked this hotel because two work colleagues spontaneously needed somewhere to stay overnight.I contacted the hotel at lunchtime and made a request for two rooms. This was confirmed positive. When I asked how long the reception would be occupied, they confirmed 6 p.m. but assured that someone would be there until 7 p.m. Unfortunately, there was a delay because my colleagues had to travel a long way. So I contacted the hotel again and asked whether there was an option to deposit keys (Keysafe). According to the navigation system, arrival was only possible at 10 p.m. They then said it wasn't a problem. There is someone on site.Despite Keysafe, a fee of EUR 20.00 per person was charged for late arrival. This could have been told to me beforehand.Furthermore, I have to agree with the other people who complain about the breakfast. Unfortunately there weren't even rolls here, just packaged bread. And that, in my opinion, has the best bakery in Heidenau right around the corner. They now went to the bakery for breakfast. The rooms had their best time before the fall of the Wall. In other words, stuck in the time before 1990. There is an urgent need for renovation here. And given the prices, that should definitely be possible. For a price of over 100 EUR you can definitely expect more. If I had known this beforehand, my colleagues would have been accommodated in Dresden. The prices are sometimes the same, but you also get appropriate value for your money. There was one good thing about this experience. Next year, when my child is confirmed, I will definitely look for other accommodation for my guests.I should have read the reviews before making the reservation. I won't make this mistake again.
