The host has a friendly but very dry manner, which was difficult for my son to cope with. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The half board dinner was ok. Due to the very "adult" choice of dishes, the child had pasta with ketchup on 3 evenings, which was at least offered as an alternative option. The menu outside of half board looks better, but there are waiting times here. A real minus was the broken wellness area, because of which I booked the hotel specifically given the weather forecast. There was neither any information in advance nor a discount. The location right on the hiking trail is great. Despite being close to the road and train, it was very quiet.

We had a wonderful holiday as a family in September. Rooms and food were great. Maik is very open-minded and responded to our wishes. We haven't laughed so much and had such a good time in a long time. Thank you very much for the lovely days.

Dog owners who give their dog something from the table are no longer served and ignored. Paid services are not fulfilled. Unless you have a discussion with the “guest” innkeeper. So be careful!

Nice hotel The soot on the walls is really beautiful and the smell of smoke in every room makes you feel the highway in your lungs. The rooms were rancid and filthy. The innkeeper shouted at his workers and smoked in the kitchen.

The hotel is ideal if you want to go on bike tours or go hiking. Ideally located in winter for winter fans. But it is also very suitable for a long weekend. The food is tasty, for breakfast you can choose between scrambled eggs, fried eggs and boiled eggs. The only drawback is that the light rolls are not that tasty, so you should take the dark rolls

I stayed at this hotel in Oberwiesenthal for 5 days last week. Everything was absolutely perfect for me during this time. If you want something a little quieter and more familiar, this is the place for you. I received a super friendly welcome. The nice, friendly and relaxed manner of the innkeeper made the stay very pleasant. The room was clean and spacious. Great big showers. There was nothing wrong with the food, breakfast was always fresh and had a bit of everything. I could ask for my favorite egg every day, which was brought to me freshly prepared, great. Dinner as a 3-course menu is also fully equipped and always fresh and delicious.I thought it was great, can only recommend it and will definitely come back.

I was a guest in this beautiful hotel with my parents. The location is great. You can reach everything very quickly on foot and the most important points. Trips to Schwarzenberg, Annaberg Buchholz, Fichtelberg or to the Czech Republic are also easy to reach.I have to say a big thank you to the boss again. Who always had an open ear and took the time to talk. Really great 👍🏻😄. Of course the hotel staff were also very accommodating, very nice and polite. You immediately felt at home. Big thanks again to all of you🙏🏼.The restaurant was outstanding. The food was first class, half board. Very very tasty. 😋 . The portions were very good 👍🏻 and people always asked if everything was okay or if the glass was empty if you would like to drink something else. The breakfast buffet was also very outstanding. There was quite a large selection of different rolls or bread, sausage and cheese - everyone will find what they are looking for.The hotel rooms were all very clean and well-equipped.So all in one you can say a world class hotel, the boss is great and the employees are great, stay the way you are, keep it up. If you are looking for a room in Oberwiesenthal then go to the Schwarzes Ross is highly recommended. Will definitely come back. 😁👍🏻
