We chose this hotel as a stopover on our trip to the Baltic Sea in order to shorten the route and arrive at the actual holiday destination refreshed. The location of the hotel is well suited for a city tour. Check-in was very friendly and smooth. However, we were very disappointed after spending some time in the room. We booked a room with air conditioning and paid extra for it. The cooling system worked, but the air conditioning kept making noises reminiscent of a drill. We measured 74 decibels. And that at half past four at night. A restful sleep was out of the question. When we complained to reception the next day, the problem was apparently already known and there was talk of 2 other rooms in which the same problem existed. There was no way to get another room or otherwise resolve the situation. There was no price or other concession. We also cannot understand why these rooms are even allocated when it is known that there is a technical problem with the air conditioning. It would certainly be better to honestly address this with the guest in advance, secure the air conditioning and then not charge the extra charge.

Top location, nice rooms, nice staff. The star deduction is for the lack of air conditioning, which is only a problem on hot summer days. So this needs to be put into perspective. It is and remains a cozy, small hotel with good facilities in an absolutely top location. Trams leave in front of the door in all directions. You can get anywhere quickly with just a few changes. There are various options for dinner and breakfast in the immediate vicinity. Shopping for your daily needs can also be done within walking distance. It is also just a stone's throw to the pedestrian zone.

Modern and clean rooms with a small kitchen and refrigerator. Staff very friendly and helpful. Central location, 5-10min. Walk to the pedestrian zone, public transport stop directly at the hotel. Everything was fine, we would love to come back.

The hotel is very centrally located. The tram is right outside the door, the city center is practically around the corner. Our room also had a small kitchenette. We didn't use it, but we found it very good. We were warmly welcomed by the boss and his employee. On the day of departure we were even able to use the parking lot for a little longer. Completely uncomplicated and hospitable… We will come back when we are in Leipzig. TOP!

edited 5.4.22---Location great, room spacious.Rooms are good, the facilities are ok. Price-performance is okay given the location. A paid parking lot with limited capacity (book early!) is located directly at the house.Limitations from our point of view: Bicycles (highly recommended for L!) cannot be accommodated well - a lockable shelter or similar in the backyard would be desirable. There is no breakfast directly in the hotel, an attached cafe is fine, but a bit too expensive for what is on offer, a similar offer at the bakery around the corner. Since we were expecting street noise (including from trams) due to the location, we booked a room at the back to avoid this. Here, however, the view (at least on the lower floors) is very limited by neighboring houses and escape stairs. On one of our 7 nights, our stay was severely marred by party noise from the neighborhood until the early hours of the morning. For these reasons, ventilation at night via the balcony door to the escape staircase (as the only option) is not always possible, and no other ventilation option is available. The cleanliness was questionable in that when we left after staying for 7 nights, we did the obligatory look under the bed for things that had fallen down and found crown corks and champagne corks that didn't come from us. That doesn't work at all! But the bathroom and kitchen were clean.Good accommodation for one or two nights, but we would look for an alternative for a whole week.We would have liked to criticize directly on site, but the reception was only staffed to a very limited extent.----PS: If you follow my reviews, you'll notice that I rarely give 5 stars.

The hotel, located in a very central location, is basically easy to reach. A parking space at the back makes check-in easier. From here it is only a few meters walk to the center of Leipzig. However, the central location has the disadvantage that the whole thing seems very loud due to the tram and the streets in front of it.The rooms are large and spacious and pleasantly furnished.
