I was able to spend 2 nights in the bungalow.The breakfast was very good in terms of quality and quantity and the friendliness of the owner was overwhelming.The guesthouse itself still has a lot of potential and in some places you can clearly see the renovation backlog. Nevertheless, the visit is definitely recommended!

Simply perfect. Beautiful old building, which has been beautifully prepared. Nice rooms, I think there is something for everyone. In my opinion the ideal location. Very dear owners who made the stay perfect.

We spent 4 wonderful days here, in a simple but functional and super clean room. Mr. Liebich was always there for us, whether it was about bus timetables, excursion destinations or concerns about our little daughter. We have never experienced anything so helpful and kind. There was a wonderful breakfast, where individual requests were also taken into account. This guesthouse and its friendly operators can be recommended without reservation! We would like to thank you very much for these beautiful days!

A very nice and friendly welcome. Room was in great shape. I was very surprised that everything was so neat and clean. The location of the room was very good, especially a dream for dog owners. The dog thing wasn't a problem at all and they were even very welcome. A quick exchange with the owner went smoothly. You could pay in cash, card or Google Pay, which is super smart and commendable in this day and age. The location of the guesthouse was very quiet, super cool for dogs, as you could quickly get to the field or the forest. A 5 minute distance to Altenberg in the city center/ski area is great.In short: everything was great, TipTop was fine, the price was right. We'd love to come back!

We booked 1 week of accommodation with breakfast. The room was very nicely decorated and the breakfast was also great. The hosts are very friendly, open-minded and very concerned about the well-being of their guests.

A very nice and authentic guesthouse, with lovely and friendly hosts. We felt very welcome as a family!The rooms and guest areas are very well maintained; The Brandt family creates a pleasant stay experience with great dedication to detail. Highly recommended for people who want to spend a longer time in Altenberg and the surrounding area!

After we had a lot of bad luck with our first holiday apartment this holiday, we spontaneously moved into Pension 23 and were warmly welcomed by the three landlords. The apartment was clean and bright. The bedroom was very spacious. The highlight for our children was using the lounge with a pool table, table football and other leisure activities. We also made extensive use of the fireplace and the volleyball court in the garden. The three landlords are super friendly and accommodating. The service is simply top notch.

A super nice guesthouse!!!We received a very warm welcome and felt very comfortable here throughout our holiday.The rooms (we had an apartment with two bedrooms) are very comfortable and furnished with great attention to detail. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated.Our kids and we really enjoyed it there. Especially in the common room with billiards, table football and board games.

Very nice hosts, everything was uncomplicated from booking to departure. Our rooms were also nice and clean. We slept very well. Very quiet location with beautiful views. The breakfast was great and rich. We traveled as a family with our dog and were completely satisfied. Thank you for the great communication and service. Absolute recommendation. Owner really very friendly and helpful. The house itself and the location are also great, unfortunately I can still only give it 3 stars. The room/apartment was barely heated when we arrived, and since the apartment was under the roof, it took us two days to get it warm. We had actually booked an apartment with 2 bedrooms, but shortly before arrival we were informed that it was still under construction. Now we got the small attic apartment with 2 narrow guest beds, which was disappointing. The price was reasonable for us, but we still paid the same as our friends in an apartment that had 2 bedrooms. It would have been nice if we had been offered two double rooms. The bathroom in the apartment was tiny, no storage space. Unfortunately there is no drying room in the house, so we had real difficulties getting our things dry. It was generally very, very cold in the house, around 10 degrees in the hallway, so your feet were cold when you put on your shoes. Breakfast when it's 14 degrees in the room is no fun, and you don't want to use the really nice common room when it's 15/16 degrees. It's a shame, there's a lot of potential here, then the vacation would be more enjoyable.
