The burger was cold, the meat was rock hard and actually not edible. But a great location

Actually a very nice hotel. From my point of view, it has a slight charm of a youth hostel, as the furnishings and condition of my room were something for younger people. The food didn't really convince us. There is definitely still a lot of room for improvement.

I can only rate the restaurant. We met two very nice waiters and the food came more than quickly. The main course came almost at the same time as the starter. Unfortunately the food wasn't particularly well seasoned, but ok. Unfortunately, there are only a few stands available for cyclists in front of the hotel, some of which are broken.

Very nice hotel. The rooms are clean, but the beds are very deep.Service and staff very friendly and accommodating, top. What is hard to understand is that the wellness area only opens at 5 p.m. The beer tub bath is closed and cannot be used, as is the beer bath relaxation area. This offer should be deleted from the website because this is misleading the guest and deceiving the guest. We booked this hotel specifically because of the wellness and were very disappointed. It doesn't work at all

So the food and service is very good. Rooms are actually okay. Unfortunately, the beds are too deep. What's not possible at all is that the wellness area doesn't open until 5 p.m. and that's an absolute no-go when it's pouring rainIf you like wellness, it's better to book another hotel.

We were here in the restaurant about 10 years ago and it was very good back then. That's why we were here again as a family for dinner on July 18, 2024. The taste was great but... I chose the ranger for my portion of the menu for €28.90. I was torn between this dish and the elk entrecote (200g for €27.90) further down the menu. What I got was a plate with three mini strips of fillet pieces which weighed a maximum of 50g (rather less). I also told the waiter that I didn't agree with the portion size and he wanted to pass this on to the kitchen. Nothing happened here, we paid our bill and left. I would have expected more here, especially given the higher standards and the slightly higher prices! Especially since, let's be honest, the potato wedges that came with it were only ready-made, frozen goods and the salad and the very good taste of the food didn't make up for it. In the picture the size comparison of the other meal we ordered with bison fillet... It's just a shame if the dining experience doesn't fit. An email written asking for a comment remained unanswered. A pity

I can't understand the bad reviews. Great hotel with a brilliant charm. The rooms are very spacious and clean. WiFi very good and very fast throughout the hotel.I had dinner in the restaurant in the evening. The staff was very attentive and friendly, the portions of the food were completely sufficient and the price was also very fair. The beer from our own brewery rounds off my positive impression. All in all, I can fully recommend both the hotel and the restaurant. I will gladly come again!

The rooms to stay are nice, but that's it. For breakfast there were burnt rolls and the boiled eggs were far too soft (almost raw).I've eaten there twice. Every evening and that's really disappointing. With a few exceptions, the portions are very manageable. In my salmon pan I found 3 tiny pieces of salmon. Some of my companions commented that the food was too cold. When this was raised with customer service, there was no response. Since my portion was so small, I wanted to have dessert - creme brûlée is on the menu, but it was no longer available both times. The fact that we waited almost an hour for the food, even though it wasn't too busy, is almost irrelevant. However, the prices were not a minor issue; they are very self-confident, but that is probably common in the area now. I won't eat there anymore.

I was there several times. The hotel is great. But I won't go there anymore because of the wolves: cycling tours in the Lusatian Lake District area are too risky for me.
