We were invited there for dinner with family and had pre-ordered. That worked well. Unfortunately we sat at the door to the terrace and it blew like pike soup. I found the atmosphere inside and outside very nice. It was also very well attended. The prices are steep, but almost everything tasted good. Only one person's vegetables were completely overcooked and mushy.The point is deducted for the sometimes very unfriendly staff. When we were still outside and wanted to drink some water, we were bluntly answered that we had to get it outside ourselves. The sound makes the music. What I found even worse was the way the table was cleared. One of our grandchildren had spilled something, which isn't a bad thing and can happen to children. The waitress instructed our son in a commanding tone to put everything on the plate, including the used napkin. I found that totally wrong.Children are the guests of the future. Here, however, I have the impression that people are very confident that the staff can do everything they can. That was a total no go ☹️👎

Our stay at the Schiffsmühle was really great. We particularly liked the sauna with a view of the Muldental, but also the service and breakfast were great. The electric car can be charged for a flat rate of €15. Super

After a long time we went to the ship's mill to eat again and were amazed at how much it has changed. Both the space and the food. The change has been successful, I can only recommend a visit!

Were there on a Sunday and found the doors locked. Due to staff shortages, it is closed Sun/Mon until further notice. Too bad.

Very chic hotel/restaurant.The staff is very accommodating and the food in the restaurant is excellent.My beef fillet was the best of its kind I have ever been served.The surrounding area invites you to take a walk.

Nice, quiet hotel for relaxing, hiking and cycling. The average age of the guests is mixed. But the staff is consistently very friendly and attentive. We always try to implement customer wishes as far as possible. The rooms are not huge, but clean.There's never really anything to complain about, so you'll always be happy to go back.

I would like to give a big shout out to the Schiffsmühle team! Our event took place with around 50 people and was booked with an à la carte option!!! The food came quickly and table by table, despite so many people... my respect & thanks for the kitchen team!... it was very tasty 😋 Even as the evening progressed, the staff were friendly, attentive and always on hand. And all of this with the normal guests and a large wedding celebration that took place at the same time. Thank you very much for the lovely evening!
