The castle is a hotel and restaurant, so you can only view it from the outside and all around. But the look is impressive and you can explore many corners. If you are in Wurzen, you should definitely plan your time to take in the views and views of the castle.

€36.90 for a brunch buffet? Then please also want to be offered something decent to choose from! We were there this morning with the family. 1. Should always be replenished when something runs out. At 10:15 a.m. there was no more sausage, the cheese was almost gone. After I asked for sausage, I was just stared at in horror. Well, it was immediately followed up. There was also a bowl of egg salad that was always empty. If I don't want to refill anything, I take the bowl with me because I was already craving egg salad, but it's not so cool when you look at empty offers. Orange juice and apple juice were often only available in one bottle at the buffet. How about a few drink crates or juice dispensers when there's no time to refill? Unfortunately, this comes across as if you want to save money. If there are 100 or 150 guests, something has to be there, it doesn't work that way. I also find it really uncomfortable to ask about everything. I come from a professional background and what is definitely important is that the service and kitchen remain attentive. The guest should always have something to eat and drink on the table. I don't think the price is justified for this selection and the constant emptyness of the buffets. It would also be nice for lunch if there was something child-friendly for the little ones. It's a shame because it's degrading more and more every year.

We just thought it was great. Our suite was nice and big, romantically decorated and we really liked the whirlpool. The food in the restaurant is very tasty and the breakfast was wonderful.

Completely surprisingly, the room in the castle hotel was surprisingly modern and well-equipped, but very noisy. But family rooms with kids are really great.Good food for the celebration, enough breakfast for allergy sufferers too.The castle is a great party location even with children.

We “only” had breakfast there, but overall we were very satisfied. What bothered us a little was the long waiting time at reception. Despite ringing the bell several times, no one answered. Our impression was that it wasn't until the phone rang that someone came to reception.Another point of criticism is that it took a long time until the scrambled eggs and bacon were refilled, the plates were almost full and there were no bowls left for the jam.We would also have liked if we had been offered an alternative to “normal” coffee, especially since there is a machine.Overall the stay was very nice. We also really liked the atmospheric ambience. In addition, the very good price-performance ratio.I would also like to praise the design and cleanliness of the toilets, as this is not something that can be taken for granted these days. Conclusion: a cozy restaurant and hotel with an atmospheric ambience and small deficits that can be easily remedied. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately we were only there for one night and had booked a suite. Despite arriving early, we received a very friendly welcome. And our room was prepared for us promptly. The rooms are very loving. Our highlight was the whirlpool bathtub. And the large television, which had Netflix and many streaming services. The breakfast was also very tasty and rich. The staff in all departments were very friendly. We will definitely come back when we are in Wurzen.

My stay at the Schloss Hotel was a completely successful experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, which created a pleasant atmosphere right from the start. The suite was impressive - spacious, stylishly furnished and equipped with a luxurious bathroom that left nothing to be desired. The bed was extremely comfortable and guaranteed a restful night. The breakfast was also excellent, with a large selection of fresh and delicious dishes that started the day perfectly.Overall, the Schloss Hotel offers a perfect combination of historical charm and modern comfort. I can recommend it without reservation.

Very beautiful castle complex with many well-kept and impressive rooms for families and company celebrations indoors and outdoors.Very good service with a lot of attentiveness and interest in the guest's satisfaction. We had a family celebration in the lower hall with about 30 people. The brunch buffet was very varied and lovingly designed and left nothing to be desired. Everything was very tasty and sufficient for the number of people.A short tour of the castle lasting about an hour rounded off the program and provided an entertaining insight into the history and behind the scenes of the location. Definitely do it if you are there as a group of 10 or more people. All in all, we felt comfortable, enjoyed being your guests and would be happy to come back. Keep it up.
