You look forward to a beer after exploring Leipzig. Well, if it takes you about 20 minutes to process two customers (2x aparol spritz + a liqueur with ice) ... that just slows down the entire movement. How does it work with the cash register, the customer himself had to open the champagne bottle, and so on. (I'd rather leave the room rating alone, otherwise I would have to post the photos...)

At first and second glance a nice hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are perfectly fine. But the sum of little things makes 1 star less.1. The rooms are sufficiently large. However, there is a chunky sofa inside, so there is just 50cm of space between the window sill and the bed.2. There is almost no storage space in the room. Only 6 or 7 hangers. Instead of an ironing board and iron, perhaps shelves for laundry etc. would be more appropriate in this part.3. The toilet paper holder is attached in such a way that you have to twist it completely.4. There is an underground car park but no real and safe parking space for bicycles. Should be standard in a hotel of this class by 2024.5. There is no second blanket in the double bed. We were only given a duvet cover. Of course that's a bit low at 3°.So 7 nights of fighting for the blanket.6. Although turn/tilt windows are installed, the windows can only be tilted. The rotation function is blocked.Another word about breakfast. That's okay. Neither more nor less. And 16.90 is not necessarily cheap.

Central location, rooms clean and functionally furnished. Ideal for visiting cities as you don't spend so much time in the room. Good breakfast, the staff at the breakfast buffet are particularly attentive and very nice. The big drawback, however, is the parking lot. Because there are hardly any public parking spaces. The underground car park costs €21 per day. It's already intense.

I have never been treated so badly in a hotel and oneExperienced such unprofessional service as at the Premier Inn. The drama began as soon as I checked in: I had to pay directly, which is completely fine, but when I asked for an invoice it was refused. I pointed out that according to the FAQs on the Premier Inn website, the invoice should be issued immediately after payment. The receptionist laughed several times in annoyance and said he wouldn't give me a bill. It was only after a lengthy discussion that I even received a payment receipt. When I asked why this didn't correspond to the information on the website, he literally said that he wasn't interested.When I then asked which normal hotel you have to pay for without getting a bill, he grinned and replied that he had never been to another hotel. It's also unclear to me why there is a quick check-out box if you still have to pick up the bill at check-out. Only after further discussion did he offer to email me the invoice after checkout. Meanwhile, another guest joined the conversation and the receptionist spoke openly about my concerns in front of him and indirectly made fun of me. Such behavior is completely unprofessional and disrespectful.As if that wasn't enough, the room was also in a miserable condition. It was ugly, smelly, and there was a big wet spot on the floor. All of this was just unpleasant and made the stay unreasonable.Breakfast is also a disaster. We arrived when it was still open for 1.5 hours. All that was left of the advertised vegan breakfast was a dried spread. We didn't see anything about the promised vegan salami and ham. Both of the coffee machines were not operational for 45 minutes because there was no milk and there were now 4 people waiting with empty cups, but no employees showed up. They only came out to check the room numbers, otherwise they hid in the kitchen. Later a guest came and asked for rolls because they were empty. The service lady pointed out that we were too late. And 1.5 hours before the end of breakfast is an absolute no go.I absolutely cannot recommend this hotel and am shocked by the poor service and the condition of the room. I've never experienced anything like this before.

We stayed there for one night in June. The room was great. The employees were always friendly and helpful. The proximity to the main train station is of course perfect if you ever need it. We will definitely sleep here again the next time we visit Leipzig.
