Nice hotel and friendly staff!But the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly and if you looked in the corners you would see the dirt. This shouldn't be the case in a suite.

The rooms are very well furnished and clean, although not very large. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast was really very good. We particularly liked the view from our room of Augustusplatz including the Gewandhaus, Uni-Riese, Leipzig Opera, etc. (see photo).The hotel is a perfect starting point for a stroll through the city and the “Spagos Lounge” is recommended for a nightcap.We felt comfortable and would love to come back.

We stayed in the hotel for one night. We can confirm a lot of positive things, such as the location, size of the rooms and good beds. Unfortunately, there are also a few things to complain about, which is a real shame because it could easily be fixed. Here are some examples that have already been written by other guests. There is no possibility of fresh air supply through open windows, only through a ventilation system, which also didn't work properly in our room. Another negative point is the cleanliness of the hotel. In our opinion, a dirty toilet, a dirty overflow on the sink, a calcified shower, dusty walls and a false ceiling in the room are unacceptable (photos). We found the reception very emotionless, which was a shame because the employees here were supposed to stand out from the digital world. We found the staff at breakfast all the more pleasant, very nice and with a lot of passion. The breakfast offering was also very good. Conclusion: If you are looking for a good location in the city, don't care too much about cleanliness and can sleep with little or no fresh air, this is the right place for you.

A very good hotel in the heart of the city, which meets all the standards of a Radisson blu hotel. Very clean and elegant, modern, quiet, comfortable and welcoming from the moment you step inside. Breakfast was excellent, just as expected, with a great variety of cold and warm products, savoury and sweet, everything of very good quality. Staff were great, nice and helpful, especially at breakfast. We felt great and amazed, as we were upgraded to a suite with all the amenities and comfort. Thanks for the wonderful time we had in our favourite hotel chain!

We were warmly welcomed into the central hotel and treated courteously throughout. The pedestrian zone, the campus and the train station are in the immediate vicinity.The rooms are clean and modern, the beds are comfortable. Water, coffee and tea are available in the room free of charge. The breakfast was also great and vegetarians can find everything they need.I would book the hotel again immediately.

Kind receptionists, but recieving an invoice was a bit of a struggle (and we needed one and were also promised one). Nevertheless, the hotel is nice. But we were very amused and simultaneously disappointed by the bathroom. You basically open the door to your room and access it almost through the bathroom. There is no door to give you privacy. Nothing separates the room from the bathroom. There is a shower door and a poor door to the toilet, which does not give you any privacy at all. Whoever did the interior design was a bit of an artist but did not think about the bathroom/hotel room from a guest's perspective.

We stayed in this wonderful hotel for 1 week. All the staff were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was gigantic. Thanks to everyone who made this great vacation special. And the birthday surprise made our day.

Easy booking. The staff is very friendly and very service oriented. The room was very clean and even smelled clean and pleasant. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast offers a large selection and the cold cuts were fresh. Highly recommended!

We spent 4 days here at the Radisson Leipzig, but unfortunately we didn't have a very nice stay as we almost couldn't sleep at all in this hotel every night.The main reason for this lies in the air conditioning/ventilation system. Radisson calls this a “climate blanket.”Unfortunately, this climate blanket was practically non-functional. In several rooms and for some guests.We first had a junior suite on the 4th floor (room 405)Here the ventilation worked more or less little to not at all. After being told at reception that it was not possible to sleep on the first night without fresh oxygen and around 25 degrees in the room, we were moved to a junior suite on the 3rd floor the next morning.Test wise. Because after almost 60 minutes in this room -> there was actually no ventilation at all.Not even when the lady at the reception tried to get something to work on the touchpad of the "climate blanket" (there is only one setting. 100% air supply, or less. But this didn't work in any room as mentioned).Immediately afterwards we move to the third room. Also on the 4th floor (room 400) is the largest suite.You would think that in the largest/best room category the air conditioning and air supply would have worked.No, unfortunately almost nothing worked here either.There was no ventilation in the living/working area (although here, as in all rooms and rooms before, everything was activated and set to 100%), so working in this room was extremely uncomfortable.In the bedroom the ventilation was minimally audible but unfortunately not active so that no fresh oxygen was added. And there was no cooling either. So you constantly wake up again due to heat and lack of oxygen.Since the windows couldn't be opened properly because there was a double glass wall, there was no fresh oxygen from outside.I deliberately mention all of this in great detail so that other guests are aware that this hotel apparently (according to some reviews) has had problems with their ventilation and "cooling system" for years and that sleeping in many rooms is actually not possible.With an indoor temperature of 25 degrees and no fresh air, the night in the hotel quickly becomes very unpleasant.We received 3 additional complaints from people who had the same problems during the same period. No oxygen, no cooling and therefore no sleep.In general, all 3 rooms were visibly older and somewhat worn. The cleanliness was okay so far, but there was still significant potential for improvement, especially in the junior suite and the suite. Even for an older hotel.After the many complaints and the clear communication from several people at the reception, I hope that Radisson will finally improve something there.We travel a lot and often sleep in hotels, even in very hot places around the world. However, we never had such nights with strong heat & no possibility of oxygen.For us it was the last visit to this Radisson Hotel.
