It's an accommodation worth walking to the palace, but it's a bit far.The alley is narrow to drive in, but a driver will take you there. I was very satisfied with the quiet private accommodation and the breakfast was delicious.

Excellent accomodation and service. A short walk into the restaurants and shops, but far enough away that you have privacy and quietness. Nothing was too much effort for the team, and the pool was clean and private. Would recommend for a relaxing holiday.

Accommodation was great, as shown on all photos with some obvious wear and tear, but that did not bother us.Location was good - about 10min walk from main roads, but never felt unsafe even at night after dinner.The best part of the whole stay was the staff though. Surya and Sri really went above and beyond, and were super helpful during our week-long stay. Would definitely recommend it.

The room itself was lovely but the layout was unconventional. Entry to the villa is via the bathroom which is a little awkward. The distance to the main road (restaurants and shops) is closer to 10 mins than 5 as advertised (and Iโm a fast walker!). The staff were very helpful and responded to all requests quickly. The place is very clean albeit furnishings a little dated. Good value and worthwhile to visit.

My husband and I stayed at Madara Villas in Ubud for four nights, the staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating. The rooms were beautiful and very clean, we very much enjoyed our stay, special mention to Riska and Surya for making our stay so pleasant. Thanks Anthony and Amelia

We took advantage of the restaurant for breakfast on two occasions without staying in the villas.We loved interior design being professionals in interior design and travel ourselves.A refined design combining the 70s and modernity, quality and care.A welcome, a smile and professionalism of great class and done in a natural way worthy of Bali.The menu is varied and the dishes subtle.We went back the next day because we enjoyed it so much.Thanks to Ryka for her smile, welcome and professionalism as well as to the entire restaurant teamโฆOne of the best addresses made

We booked the villa on April for one nightโฆ the villa was very clean and very nice decoration with high level of privacy .. I asked for pool flower arrangement & floating breakfast and they did everything for me ( with good prices) .. the staff were so friendly โฆ highly recommended

I was there only for a coffee around lunch time while waiting for my driver and the lady there (I think her name was Surya?) was so super nice and friendly and I felt so welcome. The coffee and my smoothie were delicious as well.

Amazing. Would stay again and recommend to family. We went into our private pool multiple times a day to cool off. There are high walls so privacy wasnโt a problem at all. And the room opens up to the pool too. Lives up to the pictures. The vibe is in between an Airbnb and a hotel which I liked. Thereโs a front desk and WhatsApp for any questions/needs from 7am-9pm but then you also get privacy and small feel (there are only 7 villas). Owners and staff were great and helpful. Place was clean, food was delicious. Felt like we were on another honeymoon. Itโs about 10 min walk to town so away from the craziness but still close enough. We stayed for 4 nights and were sad to leave.

Everything was utterly wonderful. The staff, especially Sri, were welcoming and friendly, always going out of their way to meet our needs.The location is a 10 minute walk north of the main street. A lot of the action in Ubud is on the south side of the main street but I was glad to be slightly removed from the chaos of the main town but still within easy reach.Some of the best places we went to nearby were Seniman Coffee, Hesa Wellness Spa, and Hujon Locale (make sure to book).The food and drinks served at the cafe/room service were on par with the best we've had anywhere in Bali, and very reasonably priced.The villa itself was absolutely incredible with everything you need to be super comfortable. Lush gardens, cold air conditioning and a beautiful pool.

Perfect location away from the busy street but only a 5-10 minute walk to bars/restaurants. Service was perfect, the staff are so kind and attentive - always having a chat as you come and go from the property. Breakfast was the best we had at any accommodation in Bali - the smoothie bowl was excellent. Air con was perfect and room/pool great size for the 2 of us for 4 nights. They also organised a taxi to the airport for our return flight and made sure it came early to accommodate for the crazy Bali traffic in December! The welcome drink and cold towel on arrival was a welcome treat after a 3 hour bike ride from the north too. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Stayed 4 day 3 night:1) Spacious, comfortable and clean villa. I would like to make a special mention about its minimalist style of industrial concrete walls & modern simple design. The al fresco area and pool was well-lit & had a ceiling fan!2) Friendly staffs who always smile and greet me by name and enquire about my day whenever I leave or return back to villa. Welcome drink and hand towel was provided we checked in. WhatsApp chatwas useful and our queries were always promptly answered.3) good, convenient inroom massage and dining menu4) observed proper cleaning & maintenance of villa and basic amenities are providedMy feedback for future consideration:A complimentary service of a mini buggy to cater to guests (who do not have a license to ride scooter or motorbike) & perhaps drop off along main Jalan Raya Ubud road.Hope to revisit again soon!
