This was a nice hostel to stay at for a few nights and explore what Ubud had to offer. We were able to find the hostel easily which was nice after a long travel day to get there. When we arrived we were shown to our room and made our selves comfortable. Not long after we arrived there were some more people arriving and eventually by the end of the evening we were all chatting and getting dinner together. It was a nice place to relax but also a nice place to meet some people and go explore together. In the morning we got breakfast from the hostel and were on our way to rent a bike for some day trips we wanted to do. This hostel was very chill and made for the perfect pit stop in Ubud. The staff were lovely and the dorms were nice and big, we were able to put our bags comfortably in the room and out of the way. They also had lockers if you would like to use them. The showers were decent. Although there were only two washrooms, which made it a little challenging at times it was still comfortable and spacious. There are some cute restaurants two doors down from the hostel as well which made it convenient if you didn't want to venture very far for food or snacks.

Highly highly recommend! I had an incredible stay here. The team are so lovely, very friendly, warm and welcoming.The hostel is extremely good value, with breakfast included! It’s in the center of Ubud, walking distance to everything.The beds are very comfortable and they have a lovely outdoor area for relaxing.Free tea and coffee all day.

The hostel is spotless, the breakfast is delicious. The manager is extremely kind, she helped us by contacting different people so that we could carry out the activities we wanted to do. Thank you for this stay!

I came here for a night and extended for few days.The location is awesome walkable for everything in center Ubud.There is cheap restaurant and coffee around or other more pricey.The room could be improve but the bed was comfy and air-conditioning work enough for me. I even have to set it at 25degrees to not feel too cold at nightThe young girl who makes breakfast and cleaning bring a nice energy by always smiling and asking what are my plan of the day or what I did.I really love the atmosphere here and will come back if in future I will be around

Had the best time here. Staff was really friendly and helpful at all the times. This hostel felt like a second home. Rooms were cute and clean. Bathrooms are ok. Breakfast was cute and all homemade. You can meet people when travelling solo, but the hostel is rather small. Staff organised the transfer for our further journey.

The friendliest staff. One of my favourite hostels in SE Asia throughout my travels. Felt like home - the ladies take such care of everyone, cooking breakfast each morning and helping book trips and transport. They are always smiling and welcoming. I love it here.

This is definitely the best place to stay in Ubud, specially if you wanna have some local experience. Dayu is amazing, and she'll be always ready to share anything you wanna know about Balinese culture! They just reopened after covid, I really couldn't recommend it more... Feels like home!

Vanara Sagriwa was one the best hostel that I been in Asia, is very clean, organized, has the best host and owner Sukma. She is a mother with all of his guest, a beautiful soul inside out, the breakfast is delicious and the vibe and energy is amazing. Sukma treat you in at very genuine way as a human. Cheap hostel but superb!, They have 3 breakfast options, all taste great try it yourself and it's open till 11am.Easy access to busy part of Ubud where many attractions are located, just take a minute walk to get there. Owner is very welcoming, she'll help you tp reserve shuttle and also cheaper price for Batur mountain trekking, lot cheaper than if u stay at a hotel, 325k to 600k+ if staying in a hotel. Hot and cold water anytime of the day, clean rooms, cozy place, working AC. Check this place out and make some memories there ;)

At an amazing location, this clean, spacious, well decorated and cozy place is a hidden gem in Ubud.The family that runs it is gentle and extremely kind. They have very much experience in running their place. They will help you and guide you in anything you may ask them with.Tours, shuttles, fast boats and other services are offered at the hostel (provided by third parts) and at very inexpensive and competitive prices.I love there's AC units in each bedroom and curtains in each bed for privacy.I will surely recommend anyone to stay here when in Ubud area... As much as I will come back whenever in Bali again...Thank you Vanara Sugriwa!
