The room is nice and clean, quite small but cozy. The breakfast is completely fine, the service is very good. The location is in a “simpler” part of Leipzig. Perfect for me as a business traveler.The hotel is now under new management, you can eat delicious food and sit comfortably in the restaurant. Definitely an upgrade.

Beautiful art hotel with many interesting exhibits, a cozy atmosphere and clean, good rooms.We particularly recommend the restaurant with good local home cooking and a very friendly team. When the chef comes in person and asks if it tastes good, you know you're really trying.

Very friendly and warm hotel in the east of Leipzig.Very warm staff and great breakfast. Pictures are displayed throughout the hotel.Only 2 km east of the main station, easy to reach with 3 trams. The bike shop “Veolismus” is right on the next corner.The district is a mixture of renovated and non-renovated Wilhelminian style buildings that takes some getting used to. The middle class lives in the renovated old buildings, while freaks, students and migrants from the Middle East live in the unrenovated buildings. Which is why the Eisenbahnstrasse is not just Leipzig's "Middle East" geographically.Local “freaks” or students pointed out to me the high risk of theft in the area. But my bike was safe in the locked yard and was also well guarded by my dog ​​and cat.Gladly again!

Very friendly staff! Unfortunately, the street-side location is very noisy. Why the refrigerator in the room is not accessible? And one request: very soft mattresses and pillows. If you invest in it...Very service oriented!

The descriptions in the other reviews are quite accurate when it comes to the unsettled location and the heat in the summer. I still gave it 5 stars because we found everything very clean, the reception was very nice, the city center can be reached very quickly by tram and there are indoor parking spaces available. In addition, one should not forget that the hotel operators have taken the negative points into account when setting their prices. So it's a fair price, but of course you shouldn't expect a 5 star hotel.
