I wasn't expecting anything good based on the reviews but I'm pleasantly surprised. Therefore an extra review - this hotel is completely fine.Parking: free along the streetWiFi - works great for me (3rd floor), approx. 36 Mbit/s up/down (I measured) - is enough.Room: smells like nothing, not unpleasant at all. It's small but the bed is comfortable, quite high. There is no closet, just a shelf with a hanging rod, but that's enough for me.There are a bit few sockets (only at the bed).Bathroom: nothing smells here either, everything is modern and clean. The faucet is a little wobbly. The location is just outside, but ideal for my purposes (visiting a trade fair) as it is within walking distance (25 minutes on foot).

What can you say... two stars is the highest of feelings. The reception of the night porter was very friendly!Check-in went smoothly. We can't rate breakfast because we only booked an overnight stay. Probably better that way.To the room...Even if the price of the hotel was quite reasonable, you should never neglect the cleanliness of a hotel room.Stains on the carpet from big parties.Cobwebs over a large area at the entrance to the room.Smudged bathroom mirrors, dirty fittingsLack of lighting in the bathroom, torn curtains, defective heating controls and much more.We had booked a comfort double room, there is no trace of comfort here!(See pictures)Only the mattresses were in good condition. The hotel is more like an hour hotel. The location of the hotel in the middle of an industrial area, from 6 a.m. onwards people are working loudly in the courtyard.Conclusion...Even if the price is quite cheap, you can still find a decent room. Unfortunately not here!!!Thanks no!

Unfortunately, our stay at the Hotel Aviva in Leipzig was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have ever had. Although the hotel is close to the trade fair and there is an ARAL gas station right outside the door, those are the only positive aspects we can mention. The hotel itself is a former administration building on a factory site that was carelessly converted into a "hotel". The rooms are extremely loud, dingy and have the charm of an open prison cell. The shower is so small that it can only be used comfortably by people under 1.60 m tall - the drain was also blocked and the smell was unbearable. The furniture wobbled and looked like it came from a cheap discount store. Overall, the entire hotel is more reminiscent of a run-down truck stop on the highway, which redefines the term "unsexy".It was by far the worst hotel experience we have ever had. The hotel is definitely not a recommendation – we will never come back!

Would highly not recommend it! It was an unfortunate experience like from a horror movie! The worst was the behaviour of the staff. The man from the reception came to my room late at night (around 12 am) and after a plenty of knocks on the door and without saying any word that he is from the hotel he tried to open the door with his card. Ich was so scared (he did it twice) After all of the stress he said something and I registered his voice and opened. There was a problem with the transaction, he didn’t apologise for for disturbing me, he didn’t care about the sticker „do not disturb me“ on the door. Hopefully I speak German because otherwise the communication would be impossible, he even didn’t speak a single word in English. Do not make my mistake choosing this place!

I booked for two nights for 4 people including 2 children. The rooms looked exactly as described, they were clean and the staff were very friendly. The hotel seems to be suitable for assembly staff, traveling traders but also for families. The hotel only offers breakfast, but there is a suitable restaurant for dinner either right next to the hotel or a few minutes' drive away. The journey for those without a car could be a little more difficult as it is not directly connected to public transport. Conclusion for the location only 4 instead of 5 stars. We were satisfied with the stated standard for two nights, many thanks to the staff😊

Very outdated, sometimes old office building in the middle of industry, ok for one night, definitely not longer.

Price performance was an absolute disgrace. Super unfriendly/bored staff when checking in. We paid €150 for a family room with 2 children for 1 night. In return you can at least expect a comfortable/clean room with a bit of a feel-good quality. The very old carpet was full of stains, the drain in the bathroom smelled incredibly bad, the shower curtain was moldy... unfortunately absolutely not recommended

Hair on the beds, the bathroom stinks. Parking spaces on the street are all occupied by trucks. Loud party music outside despite the soundproof windows. Breakfast 10 euros per person.
