DePradha, now called Villa Chakra, was a luxurious experience for us. Everything included. It was worth a 10. But above all, the oh-so-friendly staff started every day with a warm feeling for everyone. We had also booked this stay for after the trip to Lombok. This hostel is one of my favorites in Ubud. The main reason is location. You can have breakfast watching the market stalls set up and how life in Ubud begins. It is very quiet and with little noise. Not hearing the noise of the motorcycles at night is one of the most important points, since in this area there is a lot of movement and otherwise they won't let you sleep.The pool and other facilities were very well maintained, you can see the love and dedication they put into this place. They helped us take the clothes to the laundry so my father could keep them clean. 100% recommended, the staff is very very friendly and they try to understand you.

Hotel with very good staff service, they were very friendly at all times, the rooms were very comfortable and spacious, they have a minibar inside with very good prices, we drank the beers that were available and we paid for them when checking out. Every morning they left us some bottles of water and coffee for the next day, the breakfast is super delicious, they give you your juice, a kettle with coffee so you can drink as much as you want and in our case the eggs with avocado were great. The location of the hotel is magnificent, you have everything nearby since you are in everything in the center. Without a doubt, if I returned to Ubub I would go to this hotel without thinking about it. P.S- Even though we checked out at 12 they allowed us to leave our suitcases at reception until the afternoon :-)

Our experience is in the restaurant: very good, fairly hearty meal for a good price, very friendly welcome. The only downside: the restaurant's toilets are in a pitiful state (this is the case in quite a few other places in Bali). You really should clean them every day.

This is a strange one. Cafe on the main road called Para Normal, then you go upstairs to grab a seat, which becomes DePradhda. Guest house and restaurant.The upstairs iscozy and over looks the Temple across the street. There’s also a market lining the lane way.Motor bike drive by, so it can get noisy but nothing like cafes on the main road where you can even talk to each other without yelling. This is calmer. They play local Balinese music in the background. Seating,there is some comfortable chairs with cushions and some hard wooden chairs. The pool is a beautiful aqua color to sit by and chill. If there is a breeze, it feels nice up here. The owner is sweet and the service is great.We had coffee and croissant. The coffee was good but I didn’t like the croissant, it was salty and didn’t taste fresh that day.Prices are ok. Def touristy but on the lower side.I would come back and try some food from the restaurant and skip the cafe downstairs. Enjoy bali! It’s wonderful here :)

A traditional balinese architecture hotel. The location is very strategic, just side by side with Saraswati Temple and very close with Ubud traditional market. We just need walking to the central activity of Ubud.The minus is not every room have a good condition, specially for the water faucet and hot water. And the swimming pool also not in a good condition

Beautiful Place to completely chill & zone out, right in the centre of Ubud beside Water Palace & Ubud Palace. Rooms were simple & elegant. Staff were very friendly and went above and beyond. I even noticed an elderly gentleman get guided to and from his room for breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday. Nothing was too much trouble. They have an onsite spa & also cooking class, where they even take you to the local market to shop for ingredients with them for the full experience. Lovely place. Bathroom in delux room was not delux & sprung a small leak from the ceiling. Otherwise it was wonderful. Be in the centre of Ubud, and feel like you're a million miles away.
