A special kind of hostel. Everything you need for life is available. Great location for exploring the old and new town on foot or by bike. Not far from the train station and the S-Bahn and buses. Room clean, breakfast very good. Nice staff rounds off the overall offering. Many thanks to the entire team! LG from Saarland.

We were on the ship for a weekend as a large group. The lady at reception was annoyed because we had a slight delay due to traffic. The rooms on the upper deck were functionally furnished, ok for a weekend, but not longer. You should avoid the rooms in the lower area, like a sardine can, you couldn't turn around. 3 beds side by side, well it's better to take one out. The bathroom in our room was spacious. Lots and lots of spiders on board. They were everywhere, especially in the evening. We're not talking about 3/4/5. No, that was quite a few. You should remove the cobwebs once a day, then things will get better, the ship isn't that big. For breakfast: everything basic is there. Breakfast times only from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. When 50 people go out to eat at once, chaos is inevitable. (by the set meal time). There was 1 employee there, clearly it wasn't working. But kudos to him, he tried everything.Unfortunately we didn't have dinner. We ordered something. What surprised us was that we had to take our rubbish back with us.There are refrigerators on the ship with drinks at a fair price.The location is nice, a short walk along the banks of the Elbe and you are in the city.If you make an effort to keep the ship in better condition and accept a few things/criticisms, you can have a nice day there.

We were there with and for a business meeting with 18 people over three days. Booking and processing were refreshingly uncomplicated and the ship manager was very flexible. Breakfast and dinner were good and plentiful and the cabins were clean. Will be happy to book there again if the opportunity arises.

We were here for a school trip with two 4th graders. It was very exciting for the children to sleep in a ship (the first few nights it took them longer to calm down). The beds are comfortable and the rooms are nicely and simply furnished, only the walls are quite thin and the flushing is loud, which sometimes wakes you up at night. The food is super tasty and the location is good and quite central in Dresden. You can reach a lot of things on foot. It's a bit difficult for tall people because you have to crouch in some places.

Surroundings are nice so far, rooms are fundamentally clean but far too small for 12th graders. Ceilings are low so you have to walk crouched the whole time. Way too expensive in terms of price. There is only breakfast, which is rather meager. Spinning everywhere.

Were here on a school trip in the 12th grade. The rooms were very small and cramped and there was no housekeeping. Breakfast was meager for more than 50 people and you could hardly sleep because of the noise. The walk into town took about 20 minutes, which was the best part of the ship

Very nice idea to turn a ship into a hotel. Simply great, with a beautiful view of the Elbe. In the evening there is a beautiful sunset, what more could you want. Here you can relax. We would be happy to come again.

As a DJ, I had the pleasure of performing at the CVJM Schiff Dresden and I can only report positive things! The location is beautiful, with a great location right on the banks of the Elbe. The organization was first class - everything went smoothly from the first contact to the implementation of the event. The rooms are well equipped and offer everything a DJ needs. The CVJM Schiff Dresden is definitely worth recommending!
