Gästehaus "Villa Seraphinum"

Very nice hotel with a large garden in a quiet location. Very convenient and quick connection to the city center by tram. Only recommended!

Our 5th stay from March 17th to 19th, 2020, most recently February 2020. So far we liked the slightly (!) dilapidated charm. But this time the bow was overstretched (unfortunately). Room 4: Beds not freshly made (bed sheets had stains, we found two black hairs - my wife and I are over 60 and have short gray hair), I was visited by a small crawly animal in my bed - an absolute no-go! The stucco moldings were hanging from the ceiling (meaning no one cares about the structural condition!), the blinds were catastrophic (the rope on the one on the far left was much too short (if I wasn't 1.87 m tall, I wouldn't have gotten to it - inattentive and customer-unfriendly), the other two lacked the rod to determine the slat alignment), guest kitchen - simply disgusting! See everything in the photos. It's a shame, because the villa is otherwise a great place: wonderfully located, quiet, easy to reach! We hope that the owners will finally take personal care of the house again. Above: the villa is now a guest house, but Google still calls it a hotel! This is sloppy leadership! Unfortunately not recommended at the moment!

Beautiful, quiet villa with large rooms. The price-performance ratio is good. Unfortunately, the building is very noisy so you can hear a lot of noises from the other rooms. Otherwise a pleasant atmosphere.

Booked spontaneously and was very positively surprised! Good price/performance ratio. Clean and cozy, staff also friendly. A late check-out was even possible for a fair surcharge. Clear recommendation for a weekend in Dresden.

July 2022 - I booked the Villa Seraphinum last year for a concert trip to Dresden. I am completely satisfied with the hotel, the facilities and the service. You can reach the Great Garden on foot and the hotel can also be reached quickly from the city center using public transport. Nice quiet location.

Value for money, quiet location, simply furnished but very clean and tidy rooms, close to the large garden and therefore a nice place to stay if you are in Dresden for a concert
