It is now very difficult to find a guesthouse or hotel where animals are welcome.We found what we were looking for in the Lockwitzgrund country house.The country house is located in a valley not far from the motorway and not far from Dresden.The room is simply furnished but that doesn't matter. It is clean and well maintained which is the most important thing.Breakfast was included, it was very tasty and sufficient.The service staff was constantly refilling everything so that nothing was ever missing.We were here for a short trip, but next time we will definitely stay a little longer.What we found a bit annoying was the street that ran directly past the country house, since we always sleep with the window open, this was of course not possible. But all in all we really liked it.

We tried to redeem the voucher we had been given a few weeks earlier for a romantic weekend. However, as it quickly became clear, the apparently “special allotment” for voucher holders – a generous offer according to advertising – was completely booked up months in advance.It almost seems as if the vouchers are an attractive advertising measure to attract potential guests, without really offering enough capacity for them to be redeemed. It leaves a disappointing aftertaste, because as a customer you expect that as a voucher holder you will receive the same appreciation and priority as any other guest - and that shouldn't mean that you just fall into the gaps that are left.It would be fairer and more honest if the country house made it clear in advance that vouchers can only be redeemed to a very limited extent or that the number of available places was stated more realistically. As it is, it has left us frustrated and almost feels like a bait-and-switch offer that hasn't really been thought through.

We spontaneously stopped in for dinner. Service was friendly. The food was great - only the schnitzel was a little dry and difficult to cut at the edge. The salad was particularly tasty.

So it was a disaster for us, we booked one night and when we were there, 2 adults with 3 children, we were told that we had booked, but no room had been allocated to us and the hotel was full! Yes, then we were left without a room, of course an alternative was offered, €40 more expensive per night and no breakfast included. We rejected it and then stood there, luckily we found something ourselves and were able to celebrate and enjoy our 80th birthday.

Location close to the highway exit. The rooms are on the first floor, so a person in a wheelchair unfortunately has nothing to look for here. Rooms without air conditioning, which is a big problem on a steamy and warm day. Breakfast is served ok, cheese, eggs, cold meats, yogurt and coffee and tea.

We had lunch with 8 people on a Saturday and sat in the cozy, shady beer garden.Drinks and food were delivered quickly.Quality was good.Service staff is careful and friendly.Up to 18 people could also sit at a beautifully set table indoors.

Rooms are outdated. You need new furniture, we had the apartment, the armchair and sofa have holes in the fabric and are worn out, as does the entire carpet in the hotel. Breakfast is nothing special today, you didn't even have to ask for fruit or vegetables like tomatoes or cucumbers for coffee.

A small hidden restaurant with a beautiful beer garden. We came across it by chance while passing through and were very impressed.The price/performance ratio here is absolutely top, the food is high quality and lovingly prepared. All in all there is nothing to complain about here. We will recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience and will try the hotel next time. Thank you for this culinary delight.

For an overnight stay on the route, e.g. to Benelux, ok. The restaurant is of a good standard. The room, or rather an apartment with a bedroom and a living room, can sleep 6 people, and there is also an equipped kitchen. The disadvantages include the passage up the corridor to the apartment, which is unfortunately full of mold, and there is a storage room for enamel and drinks. Probably not rented often. I would have replaced the shower head a long time ago.

Impeccable landscape and the surrounding area is nice and quiet and pleasant. You can come once and enjoy. Fresh air as well as in the health resort. Located between Kreischa and Dresden and you can have a good rest here. The food tastes quite good

Rating for the restaurant onlyThe quality has declined somewhat in recent years. It's nice to sit in the beer garden and you can't hear the nearby motorway bridge. The staff is friendly and attentive. There are sometimes language problems when ordering. The surface of the garden tables sticks unpleasantly. The quality of the food is good average, but the fairly high prices are unreasonable.
