The reception staff were super helpful and friendly! The room is clean & has lockers, also the hotel offer basic kitchenware (e.g. mug, glass, kettle) and free tea bag & instant coffee in the communal kitchenette. I didn’t cook though, don’t know the experience of cooking - coffee and tea is enough for me! The fridge inside the kitchenette can store my sandwich.Plus, they have a Flinta shower room which is friendly for queers!Something else: I didn’t find the elevator? But I just have a backpack so ok for me.There’s fizzling soft drink for sale - can buy at the reception.Now is autumn so the temperature inside the room is ok for sleeping and comfortable.

I came in August and there is no air conditioning.There is only a fan...No shower or toilet in the roomShared shower and toilet outside the roomThere is no shampoo or soap in the shower.Of course, there are no towels either.A real overnight stayThe Meininger Hotel I stayed at before was 100 times better!There is an air conditioner and a kitchen.There is a shower toilet in the room, towels are provided, and the staff is friendly!This time I stayed here and it was a mistake.

Good location, clean rooms (unfortunately no chairs or table or anything, but luckily a fan), definitely hard-working team.Breakfast (8-10 a.m.) not satisfactory. 8 euros isn't a lot, but it was still not enough, everyone quickly, hardly any fruit/vegetables. 1 cucumber for everyone - you're already showing solidarity, but when at 9:00 a.m. there are only 3 tomatoes, 5 slices of cheese and 1 spread left, that's not funny and you feel stupid about adding more at the "buffet". remember. Even at 9:30 you still had to ask for more coffee to be made. After a short hesitation it was then kindly dealt with. If breakfast is offered until 10:00, you have to offer it.It was funny to watch all the guests come into the breakfast room, looking for where breakfast was... 😆 Better go have breakfast! This will definitely be a little more expensive, but it is more versatile and healthier.Shower is really annoying with a push button (max. 10 seconds) and hidden Kneipp treatment (alternating hot/cold, okay, it was kind of funny to hear people squealing) and a curtain that doesn't stop the water, so the bath floats .Overall, we found everything a little carelessly designed when we climbed to the 4th floor, which surprised us after the cute logo. This raises expectations that the hostel does not live up to.It was okay, hence 3 stars (preferably 2.5), but none of us would want to stay there again.We previously stayed at the multitude in Leipzig, cheaper, better equipped, 2 towels and beds already made up in the price. And everything is more loving, warmer, with pubs and gardens.Show us that this is possible. 🤷♀️

The three of us had a great stay there with our little daughter. Rooms, sanitary facilities and common areas are top notch, everything is clean and well maintained in a relaxed atmosphere. Also within walking distance of the train station and the city! Thank you for the pleasant time with/with you!!

If you go to Haidelberg for a day and want to leave your luggage somewhere, this is the perfect place. Very close to the train station. Also the employees are very helpful. The location is nice.

Great hostelI visited the club there. There were 20 of us in total and we had two 10-person rooms for ourselves.The rooms are clean, the staff is nice, the other guests are also super friendly.Unfortunately, with 20 people, we were a little louder late at night and laughed a little too much. No active or major complaints, just more communicative attempts to find a solution.Totally likeable!Everything was great in the hostel! 😊

Had a place for my bike, laundry was done, there was a dryer and clothes rack. There was also a lock and towel. Everything perfect. Very nice people.

Room: 3rd in the 8 man/woman room, make your own beds then reserve okay, returned at 9 p.m. everything okay, I would have imagined it to be cleaner but still good ;)Service: I was lucky if things continue like this with other employees I will increase it to a maximum of 5 starsLocation: Directly almost to the main train station and from there in all directions Ultra fast by bus and train, a bit far on foot but using parallel streets, it's a great experienceP.S. 5 stars are only given for extremely good things. Let's see how the 5 days here turn out

It was actually ok in the hostel, but the employee doesn't want to remember the agreements. I've stayed overnight about 10/15 times in the last 2 years because I didn't return from Trier and asked for luggage to be stored in a room. Due to delayed trains, I wasn't in Heidelberg until 6:10 a.m Because I didn't sleep all night, I dozed off for a moment. The early morning worker simply threw me out even though the stay had been agreed upon. He claimed I wasn't a regular guest. Proven to have stayed overnight about 10/15 times. Prices. Very expensive for a hostel, broken shower, water cannot be regulated, very hot, missing tables, chairs in the room, no TV in the hallway, no consideration is given to sleeping guests

Clean, quaint and really friendly - these three qualities sum up my experience at Steffi's. I had booked a two-night stay there and while it did feel a bit pricey, spending the nights there felt the price was worth it.The beds were really comfortable, especially for a bunk bed, so there was no trouble sleeping. The kitchen's well-maintained with the essential cutlery that can be used such as spoons, forks and mugs. The lounge was especially quiet during my stay, which I honestly appreciated; one can easily read the books at the shelf or can use one of their Ubuntu-powered PCs to browse the internet. The staff were really helpful throughout the stay too.One may say the quantity of the bathrooms in the hostel is slightly disappointing, but that makes up with the cleanliness factor. Overall, it was worth the stay! Would definitely recommend for a short-term stay at Heidelberg.

There were insects that looked like bedbugs and I was bitten in two places on my left hand, but it was after 10pm when I found them, so the receptionist was not there. Also, the lock would not open unless I touched it three times each time.postscriptThey took care of the bug issue perfectly.
