We were guests in the restaurant and had cake, coffee and a portion of friesThe cake and coffee were good but a bit overpriced, but the portion of fries almost made us fall out of our shoes, 9.60 euros. Incredible.The cake, which requires a lot more work, costs half as muchService was ok, but no one was overly friendly.View is great, nice view of the lake.But that was it.We come to the area often, but certainly not to the hotel restaurant anymore

I stayed during my visit to the Fakuma Messe, unfortunately for me only one night, but I still managed to enjoy the sauna, a swim in the indoor pool, admired the breathtaking view at sunset and enjoyed an excellent dinner at the restaurant, excellent and varied breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. I promised myself I would return soon.

As has been written many times, the view is very beautiful. However, in our opinion, this does not justify the room price of almost EUR 300.00 per night. The house and especially the rooms are getting old and could use some renovation. The prices in the restaurant are very high, here too you pay a lot for the view, the food is good average. The staff is arrogant and even unfriendly. One evening an event took place as a private party and as a hotel guest you couldn't use the restaurant at all. Since there are no other restaurants in the remote town, a tip in the morning would have been helpful...! Particularly unpleasant: the staff rearranged the restaurant's seating at night after the event was over - the noise could be heard throughout the house and it was impossible to sleep.The breakfast was OK. Very good selection of cheese, great rolls and fresh fruit. The wellness area is varied, but could be better maintained.Conclusion: Price-performance ratio doesn't match in any way, for us it was a unique guest appearance.

We were allowed to stay in this beautiful hotel for a week. On the day of arrival we were warmly welcomed. Unfortunately we had a few inconveniences in our room, but these were quickly replaced, cleaned and resolved. On the penultimate day we wrote an email to the boss with all the inconveniences we were faced with, it was really quite a bit. But unfortunately I haven't received a response to date. The view was breathtaking. Every morning and evening we always had a wonderful view. The breakfast and the warm food were excellent. The Pfände is just around the corner, where you can take the cable car to Bregenz. Lindau Island is only half an hour away.

You have a great view from the café. Unfortunately, hair was found in the cream for the cake. The cake was very expensive. It's a shame for the great atmosphere.

We were guests at the Hotel Schönblick/Appartmenthaus for a week in the summer of 2024.The location and view is certainly one of the best in the area.Unfortunately the apartment did not meet our expectations at all. We paid €347 PER night (with breakfast/without dog food😅) for two adults, a child and a dog.The apartment was carelessly and very spartanly furnished. The furniture was worn and seemed old. The dirty mop was on the balcony and the kitchen was in the closet. Don't know who wants to cook there...On the second day we found an acupuncture needle on the floor, which was definitely not ours! Also great with dogs who always have their noses on the ground.WiFi was available but couldn't be used at all due to poor reception. There was a “new building” next to the apartment, although no one even bothered to remove the window in our room. If you opened the curtain you could see boards😂 really bad!!! (photos attached)The breakfast was rich and sufficient, but it was the same every day, and after a week it was one-sided.The staff was friendly, but the girls in the restaurant seemed uncoordinated. They stood next to us with both the main course and the dessert and didn't seem to know who would get it. If you asked about special drinks, they usually didn't know whether they were available. In general, the apparently “well-earning” guests seemed to be treated preferentially.Unfortunately, this experience was a real negative point for our vacation.

On the circular route through the Bregenz Forest, the hotel was a highlight because you really have one of the best views of Lake Constance. The view from the top of the fender is similar. You can see the entire lake and, of course, the next destination is Lindau with its harbor.The service in the restaurant and on the terrace was attentive and well organized. You didn't have to wait long for the food either. But if you wanted a drink or wanted to pay your bill, even a gesture of the hand wasn't immediately successful.The food was tasty, but the price/performance ratio wasn't right because the plates were simply arranged and clearly stocked. Furthermore, the menu was extensive and regional, but also very common and not unusual for the Lake Constance region.You can also use the small viewing platform outside the hotel to get a great view. In my opinion, the restaurant needs to handle its offerings a little better so that everything fits 100%.Parking spaces (chargeable) are available, but there are not too many and are therefore quickly booked up. Then the search begins on the narrow and winding road. Must be planned when visiting.—-Not rated: rooms, building, spa

The hotel is in beautiful surroundings, which we were very impressed with. The dessert in the restaurant was also really delicious. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the service in the restaurant and the rooms were not up to the standard we were used to or expected.

Unfortunately, we had an extremely disappointing experience at this inn. The food was certainly acceptable and would have been enough for our grandpa's 94th birthday, but the atmosphere was significantly spoiled by the unfriendly behavior of the boss. His rude behavior and insulting comments, simply based on our normal conversation on public grounds, were unacceptable. Ultimately, the good food couldn't make up for this negative impression, which is why we decided not to visit in the future.

Hotel with a great view of Lake ConstanceWe not only had this wonderful view from our room or balcony, but also from the hotel terrace during breakfast and dinner. Both the breakfast and the evening meal in the restaurant were top. Everyone was very welcoming.

We stayed at this hotel this long weekend. Overall, very friendly service, the food was good, but in the upper price range. I ordered 1/4 Zweigelt without looking at the menu and was charged €15.60 for 0.2. The basic price was stated on the card as €7.80 for 1/8, which I only checked when paying. The wine was served in a small carafe, far too expensive, sorry, especially for Zweigelt, I think it's totally exaggerated. The rooms are clean, the bathroom is large with a modern shower. Overall, medium standard, especially since we paid €290 per night for the double room, there are certainly better alternatives for this price. Definitely not 4 stars. Pure rip off, I have no idea where the 5/5 reviews come from.

Four of us had dinner at Schönblick on a public holiday. The food was excellent and completely justified the price for it. The view was beautiful too! We had a table further back on the terrace as the tables in the front row were already reserved for hotel guests. Unfortunately the service was a bit chaotic. It took a very long time until we got our drinks and only 2 of 4 drinks were served. We also waited a long time until we could pay. The food came very quickly. We noticed that guests who had reserved on the terrace had to sit inside. In general we had the feeling that everything in the service was a bit hectic and uncontrolled. For a 4 star hotel with such a great location, we also found the furniture on the terrace in need of improvement. Everything was a bit thrown together and not optimally placed. Due to the uncomfortable, chaotic atmosphere, we would prefer to choose a different restaurant next time. Unfortunately we couldn't relax that much.

Actually just happened to drive past... Because of the breathtaking view from the terrace there, we wanted to have a coffee there. It was actually a rest day, but we were served a very nice café au lait ☕ . Thank you very much 👍
