We had a company event with e-karting and a tour of the Hockenheimring, with dinner and overnight stay. The tour was great - very exciting even for non-motorsport fans and e-karting was fun if you've never done it before. But the hotel - which is certainly perfect for events due to its location - was really not to my taste. Mini single room with 90cm bed - that such a thing still exists - in 80s charm next to the motorway, so open windows not possible. After 11 p.m. there is no elevator anymore, because from then on there is a separate night entrance with stairs and dinner was a bit like in the canteen with a buffet and the same lighting. To be fair: the room was clean and it was just fine for one night. But this is definitely not a hotel of my choice. And there is no hotel bar either.

After a number of traffic jams we decided to make a pit stop and quickly found something thanks to Google. Booked an extra double bed room. Check-in was problem-free and also very friendly. The reception and the hallways promise a lot, but unfortunately that's where it ends. The room surprised us with two single beds and was very old. However, if you just want to sleep, okay. The next morning felt exactly like the room looked. Old, very old. As if the mattress was made of stone. I'm not a racing professional, but maybe that's how it has to be. Garbage bags in a trash can don't cost the earth and the bucket stays clean longer!! As a tip. The breakfast buffet was a bit better again. However, you can't eat that much to make the cost of the night seem reasonable. I can only recommend sleeping somewhere else and having breakfast here.Oh, and the water in the shower is really hot, which deserves praise. But unfortunately that was it.

A very good place to visit when visiting the Hockenheimring. We stayed in the often criticized older rooms. Yes, they are a bit old, but they are clean. The mattresses were comfortable. For the price paid I thought it was really ok.The heating hissed loudly at night, which can happen...When booking, you should be aware that the motorway is nearby. But sleeping with the window open works well with Oropax. Not a hotel for a long vacation, but a good tip for motorsport fans and ring visitors.Oh well: the breakfast buffet is really great!
