We came across the village restaurant/pub for dinner while passing through and were simply completely satisfied. Bratwurst with sauerkraut and bread, burger with fries, 2 beers and 1 apple spritzer for an unbeatable price... you can't get it anywhere, especially not with so much LOVE. The village regulars' table was sitting next door... everything is still in order here... we would come here again at any time.

If you don't have many demands, that's OK for an overnight stay. Price performance for the Rothenburg area is also OK. Rooms very old and noisy. Bed also OK.IT WAS CLEAN. Breakfast for 10 euros disappointing sausage curled because you can get more for the money elsewhere. Would stay there again if necessary but without breakfast.

Just stopped here to eat. Schnitzel hunter sauce, fries, small salad included. Fresh, tasty, decent portion and good value for money. That, and the fairly good location for travelers, are probably the plus for this location. The service certainly not! I have no problem with having to get the drinks myself in the beer garden, food is "kindly" brought to you. But when you come into the dining room and you don't get a friendly hello and maybe even a smile, but instead meet rather unmotivated "restaurateurs", I think to myself, they just don't have the knack for it. Gastronomy expects an idea of service, which the couple running the business unfortunately completely misses. According to the operator, the hotel guests at the next table were happy that the food wasn't self-service because there were only two of them. Really now? Really a shame.

It is definitely not a luxury wellness resort.But that's not the claim either.We stayed here while passing through, had a delicious dinner, a clean room and a decent breakfast for a reasonable price. The innkeepers were very friendly and we felt comfortable here.Ideal for a stopover on the way from the south to the north or vice versa, due to its proximity to the motorway.

Perfect for an overnight stay on longer journeys, as it's not far from the motorway and has a good price-performance ratio, which doesn't mean you can expect miracles, but a clean, partially renovated room, a decent, home-style dinner and a small beer garden. The breakfast is ok, the service is consistently friendly.

Yesterday I was traveling with my brother from Switzerland back home with a hungry stomach.We both travel a lot for work and yes, we also go to the well-known fast food restaurants along the highways.But yesterday we didn't feel like it at all and preferred to stop at an inn. The Mercedes navigation system then suggested the Gasthof Neusitz to us.So we thought we would try the alternative.The couple who ran the place were super friendly to both of us, we had a very friendly and lively conversation and ate simply but well.How nice it is when schnitzels are pounded and not just thrown into the deep fryer.We would both definitely stop again.Thank you very much for your warm hospitality.

We wanted to visit the inn while passing through for lunch. According to the website, it was open, the next vacation was advertised for October and a closed company for the following day - the homepage was updated accordingly. Unfortunately, we found ourselves in front of a locked door on site, there was no clue. After we rang the bell we were told that it was "bad today" - due to a sports field festival. It's a shame that you take the detour and then there isn't even a hint.

Nice quiet location.||Restaurant/bar closed Monday and Tuesday but host will open with a decent fare||Room was ok although floor was not clean and a lot of sand and grit was present ||Seems to host a number of roving tradesmen and had to close window at 1030 to avoid noisy phone call in car park and cigarette smoke

Very close to the A7, so we stopped there for our lunch break. We had 2x medallions (1x with spaetzle and one with croquettes), 1x sauerbraten and 1x schnitzel with fries. All the meat was ok, the dumplings, spaetzle, croquettes and fries. The sauces were very bland and out of a bag. I generally do this sort of thing myself and overall it lacked a lot of flair. The “mushroom cream sauce” was just sauce with mushrooms in it without any particular taste. The medallions had little or no seasoning, but the meat was not dry. That was really a shame. The food is relatively cheap but still not really worth the price. The side salads were delicious, there was no red cabbage/red cabbage or other vegetables with the sauerbraten.The service was friendly, the waiting time was quite long, the ambience is about as "quaint" as one found in restaurants in the 70s.Our conclusion was consistently: OK, but we don't have to go there again. So far from “gigantic” in a culinary context.Of course it also depends on your own requirements and previous experience (I cook very well and enjoy cooking).

We visited the inn for four days at the beginning of May and got what you could expect for the money. The rooms in the annex are very noisy, the carpet and the sink in the room are from yesterday and if in the first room there is a rain shower and hand shower in the deep shower tray waiting for the guest, in the other room there is only the hand shower in one of them the height and tilt adjustable bracket. The loving, recognizable line for the guest is missing. The laundry is clean.In my opinion, a WiFi amplifier for free WiFi has been installed. nothing in the guest room and looking for something in a socket there, that's what I expect in the hallway.If you retreat to your room for an evening of TV, you can look forward to six analogue programs via a bell wire - but you don't have to drive to Neusitz for that.The location, just a few minutes' drive from the motorway, is perfect for a detour to Rothenburg o.d.T., there are enough parking spaces at the house.The breakfast room doesn't leave the best and final impression that you take with you to start the day.The selection is sufficient for 10€ per person per day, if a loving hand wasn't missing here too. In our time, the jams and fresh milk were not replenished without request, the packaged pieces of butter lay in an acidic and sticky liquid for 2 days in a row, which turned out to be vinegar.For 50€/pp/day including breakfast, the house is very suitable for short-term stops or for craftsmen or for guests with low demands for the night.On the other hand, the restaurant with very tasty dishes on the menu is highly recommended. The taproom is clean, bright, friendly and inviting.The rooms and the bar are not barrier-free; the rooms can only be reached via stairs.

All in all very good. We arrived there in the evening after a long motorcycle ride from Milan and were treated to a very good schnitzel with fries and a hearty breakfast the next morning. Only recommended. Modern rooms and price performance are very good. Thank you
