Very well located next to a road with little traffic.The rooms are well furnished with everything you need.Very quiet at night!!!!We had a nice view to the rear, of a pasture with sheep grazing there 🐑 was also quite nice.Unfortunately it is a bit noisy but within limits.The food is highly recommended and the friendliness of the service staff was excellent.The breakfast was plentiful and tasty.Thank you for everything

We stayed there in September.Pictures of the room do not correspond to reality! In the photo everything is CHIC and clean, in reality it is very old, cramped and not clean! A very big disappointment.We had booked a double room for two adults and a child, but the room was so small that they didn't put an extra bed. So the child had to sleep with us!!So please publish the correct photos of the rooms! And if you don't have space for a third person in the room, then don't let them book!!

The hotel looks a bit run down from the outside.Has enough parking spaces and is easily accessible.The check-in was very friendly, although we didn't get the welcome drink. At dinner I pointed this out and we were then given our drink for free.The room seemed very comfortable at first glance, but at second glance we had to question the cleanliness.The headboard of the bed was completely dusty, the toilet and the floor underneath were yellow.The bed hasn't been vacuumed for a while. The balcony had probably not been cleaned for a long time either, there were clumps of animal hair stuck to the floor.There is no refrigerator, no safe and no WiFi in the rooms. Since the restaurant closes at 9 p.m., a refrigerator and a kettle in the room would be desirable.The room was very noisy and couldn't really be darkened with the blinds. The bed linen had a hole and the decorative pillow had stains.The breakfast buffet was disappointing, you had to get the coffee from a pump thermos. There were baked rolls and toast, 3 types of meat and 3 types of cheese, yoghurt and cereal, the scrambled eggs were in a warming bowl.The tables were dirty and there was a curtain on the floor under our table.Unfortunately the hotel did not meet our expectations.

We used this hotel on our way back from Italy. Very friendly service and hospitable welcome. The room was actually okay with the only comments being that the curtains were broken and the room couldn't be made really dark. No phone reception (mobile) and no wifi in the room.. Traffic noise is very audible from 0600 in the morning, with the windows closed (of course this is a problem in summer)Positive pointsHospitality top;Very nice host womenRooms well cleanDog friendlyGood breakfast and dinner with a great selection

We were there as part of our club trip, we didn't stay overnight, just for dinner. The service was miserable and relatively unfriendly was hardly ever seen at the table. The food was ok, nothing outstanding. The restaurant is closed at 9 p.m. There was no dessert. Once and never again!!

We stayed at the hotel from July 27th to July 31st.The reception at the reception was very nice and really warm. Katrin and her sister are very welcoming, as are the staff.Always very friendly and with a smile on her face.The ambience and the landscape are amazing. The food was very tasty. The breakfast was absolutely sufficient and delicious.A delicious beer is tapped and the Hexenkräuter is also highly recommended 😉Absolutely recommended.Greetings from Venlo 😊

The KräuterChalet is conveniently located on the B500 in the middle of the beautiful Black Forest. The menu is extensive. At lunchtime there is only a short wait for the food to arrive. The service is quick and friendly, in a good mood. We ate schnitzel, which we enjoyed; there is a large selection here. Very good idea the herb potatoes, finally a change from fries or spaetzle! Unfortunately the cappucino afterwards wasn't that great.
