Super clean, nice view.However, the weekly lunch menu is no longer good. Relatively small portion with mediocre quality. I can only recommend the restaurant in the evenings for business meetings or similar due to the good location and the ambience.

I can only recommend this hotel without reservation!I've been a regular here for years and I absolutely love it. It starts with the super friendly welcome at reception, so you immediately feel at home.Rooms are well equipped, nothing is missing.Breakfast buffet is excellent, nothing to be desired. You can get many coffee specialties from 2 fully automatic coffee machines. Good selection of rolls and bread, you can choose between various sausages and cheeses.The castle restaurant can also be recommended to everyone. Delicious and large portions await you and always friendly staff.You can park easily in the underground car park.And the way to the Voith Arena, home of 1. FC Heidenheim, is done within 10 minutes.A visit here at the castle hotel in Heidenheim is always worth it.

We were impressed by the 4☆ superior hotel. The food in the hotel restaurant was incredibly fresh and perfectly prepared regionally and seasonally. The hotel room left nothing to be desired and was quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. It was my partner's birthday and I asked for a beautifully/festively set breakfast table. In the morning, at no extra charge, there were two champagne glasses, beautifully folded napkins and a candle at the reserved table. The hotel's wellness area is small but nice. For such a large hotel, four loungers are not enough. Since there wasn't much going on, it was completely sufficient for us. The only thing that could have been available was infusion water and some fresh fruit could have been offered in the tea bar (always very refreshing after a sauna session). Unfortunately on the second day there was no sufficient steam in the steam bath. A (diving) pool would round off the wellness area perfectly. But overall still nice.Despite everything, the hotel is absolutely recommendable in every respect! Thank you for the service in being able to enjoy such a great stay. We'll definitely be back.

There is the standard of the 2000s here. Unfortunately at the current price. The service is functional, but unfortunately not appropriate for a 4 star superior hotel.

We have stayed at this hotel twice. Once in the very large castle suite and once in a residence suite. Both times we booked in the underground garage for 8 euros, although apparently selected guests were allowed to park in front of the door for free... That wasn't offered to us. Both suites and the entire hotel retain their interior design from the late 90s. You don't really expect that with a building architecture like this. Like the bathrooms, this should be adapted to today's standards. You can see that it works in the castle restaurant. Very nice modern atmosphere. Otherwise, the castle suite had a huge balcony with a view of the castle and the old town. The breakfast was good. The service was nice and quick. OK for one or two nights. TOP price!

If the service is good, it's definitely a nice hotel. But if you have to wait an hour for your room (the most expensive one in the hotel) when you arrive (after 3 p.m.), that doesn't really work. But the rooms themselves are fine. You can only get room cleaning if you register the evening before. If you ask to only have the towels changed, fresh ones are simply left in the room and the used ones remain on the floor in the bathroom. After a night in fairly hard beds, you look forward to breakfast. Unfortunately, this is very clear. There are no fresh egg dishes and the bread roll supplier should be reconsidered.

Very nice family-friendly hotel with many additional free offers. (Eg: aqua park, sauna, fitness studio…) The parking deck is directly under the hotel and very reasonable for €8 per day. The breakfast offering is very plentiful and there is something for everyone. Very friendly and enthusiastic team. If we need a hotel near here again, we would like to come back to the Schlosshotel Hellenstein. Thank you for everything and all the best for the future.
