Typical structure, large spaces, clean, parking in the internal courtyard and the lady who welcomed us was kind and helpful. Abundant breakfast for only €5. Inside the courtyard there is a room with internal and external tables where you can independently take hot or cold drinks. Really everything special.

I booked and confirmed the 3 nights 1/2 year in advance, the overnight stays were canceled 1 week before arrival. Of course, you don't get an alternative in such a short time and you have to book more expensively. …

We had also booked two rooms here months in advance because we wanted to attend a wedding in the neighboring village. Two weeks before the reserved date, the two rooms were canceled by the hotel due to overbooking. We never received an apology.

We booked a room at the Hotel Löwen Garni on March 11th, 2024 for a wedding on July 13th/14th, 2024 and got it confirmed via booking. Today, July 8th, 2024, we receive a cancellation from the hotel. Booking explains that the hotel has canceled. Apparently the last-minute cancellations at this accommodation have a system...Booking suggested us an alternative, but it was far too far from the venue. It's also interesting that you can't read anything about these negative experiences and reviews on booking.Otherwise we would NEVER have booked the accommodation.Addendum:You can't read anything about the cancellations on booking because you can only write a review on booking if you have stayed overnight. Well...

Our booking (via Booking.com) was simply canceled by the hotel 3 days before our departure. Apparently this is a practice frequently used by this hotel. So it's best to ignore it (or have a good alternative at hand!)

After we booked a room for an overnight stay for an event almost six months ago, we were today informed by Booking.com that the hotel had canceled our booking. Four days before the event. Pretty anti-social, also with no explanation why. Absolutely not recommended.

Since we are traveling from further away for a family reunion in Ober-/Niederrimsingen, we had already reserved two rooms for two families via booking.com months in advance. 1 day (!) before our planned arrival, we received information from booking.com that our rooms had been canceled by the hotel. There was no comment at all about the cancellation from the hotel itself. So if you want to be able to rely on being able to stay overnight in the room you have booked, it is better to choose one of the other hotels nearby.
