We slept there one night so it was clean except under the double bed there weren't any things lying around

The rooms were okay so far, but since dogs are allowed, I would have preferred no carpet. In summer it is very warm in the rooms, for which fans are available. It is possible to open the windows, but you have to be immune to traffic noise (Lake Constance traffic flows right past here). The terraces are very nice with a view of Lake Constance (big plus). The room service is also satisfactory.

There were three of us there and we think the "self check in" was a really good idea and the price was great and super close to the water. And there was a climate 😃.Unfortunately it wasn't that clean (under the bed and the toilet). The bathroom was a challenge for our marriage because in such a small room there was only one glass/sliding door to the bathroom. We traveled with our 10-month-old son and only got a folding bed, so we had to improvise so that he didn't fall out of bed. So it's better to bring a travel cot with you!! The fridge was super loud and I think the air conditioning also made strange noises.Since we were actually only there to sleep, it was still a successful trip.

We had booked an overnight stay on Lake Constance. We received our key on site at 3 p.m. sharp through an automatic check-in counter. This worked without any problems. It was a very nice stay for a short trip and is definitely recommended.

Hotel was really good, there is a small kitchen where you can cook yourself. Checking in yourself was also easy. There is also free parking. I don't give a point because I think check-in is a bit late at 3 p.m. and the cleanliness wasn't 100% good.

We booked 2 double rooms for one night - stay from August 20th to 21st, 2024 - they ended up being rooms 504 and 507.We can only judge the check-in, the room and the condition of everything - service is difficult, we didn't meet anyone.Let's start with the parking situation...during the booking process I didn't notice anything mentioning a parking space or asking if you needed one. I hadn't thought about it either and when we arrived around 9:30 p.m. it suddenly occurred to us. Thank God there was still a space behind the house available. It's unimaginable, there wouldn't have been anyone free...finding a parking space there at night would have been fun.Finding a room; In fact, it took us a while to even find our rooms - a short description of the directions directly in the entrance area would have been great.Let's start with the positive - we all slept well, again (due to the things that weren't right) the mattresses were good.Check-in was super easy and went quickly.I personally really liked the color choice of bed linen and towels - gray. Not always this white.Room 504:The television: the plug had to be plugged in, the remote control didn't work at all - the batteries had leaked - see picture. Nothing could be adjusted using the button on the TV itself. All buttons didn't work, you couldn't switch. We found a dirty, wet, used towel in the bathroom behind the door. The toilet roll holder was completely rusted. The socket behind the bedside table (at bathroom height) was no longer mounted on the wall, a roller shutter strap was missing - the bracket was there. Lots of dust everywhere (e.g. the TV from behind, large flakes of dust on the retracted wall, bathroom ventilation...). disco lighting in the bedroom; several lights on the ceiling broken. The light in the bathroom is unbearably bright, much too bright. The refrigerator was badly dirty on the inside, very disgusting and unappetizing, and also dirty on the outside (at the back/around).Room 507:The room was not locked upon arrival; 2 remote controls (TV and receiver) - actually 2 remote controls require 4 batteries, we had 3 and one remote control was missing the cover at the back. The shower drain - sorry, that doesn't work at all🤢 The bed linen?! Was it fresh or not?!As I lay down and my head fell into the pillow, a slightly musty smell came up - was that the bed linen and the bed wasn't freshly made or is it the pillow itself?!🤔 We don't know. The toilet flush - the knob, a piece was already missing (broken away) - and the technology... I would have needed a description. The kettle - on the one hand there was still water in it from the previous one and on the other hand it was badly calcified (it can't be that difficult to buy liquid lemon for 69 cents, bring it to the boil briefly, rinse it briefly, dry it out and you're done). The balcony chairs, their days have long been numbered. The braid was totally broken. At the end, a quick bit of information: coffee powder is there, but unfortunately coffee cream and sugar are not.

I can't understand the good reviews either, price/performance is a disgrace. It's also bad that these days there is still dirty carpet everywhere. The hotel is getting old and run down. Sleeping is unthinkable in summer when temperatures are over 30 degrees, due to the through traffic DAY and NIGHT, with the window open. But closing is not an option otherwise there is a risk of suffocation.

We had to look for a parking space at 2 a.m. because the hotel's parking spaces were like a mess, the room and bathroom smelled smelly. We couldn't check in until 3 p.m. sharp!!!!!!Not recommended!!!!!
