About me...I stay at least once a week in hotels & co. all over the country.The hotel is in the train station. !!! Directly on the track (some requirements are already clear)I arrived on Saturday around 8 p.m. and found the doors locked.The entrance below is quite confusing. Reception….. only an employee of the Cafe Fellow (already closed at this time) hands out the room card.I got room 08, which was lucky. It points to the parking lot in front. However, you could still hear the announcements and trains.Room lighting is only available at the entrance. In order to see anything I had to plug in the lamp.Unfortunately you can't actually call it a hotel, just a "room rental" (I've experienced better B&Bs with reasonable prices).The bathroom is large but very, VERY, in need of renovation (tiles broken, hand soap was not available, only a small "sample" of hair and body shampoo, hairdryer from 1970, broken, melted, not recommended)The television doesn't work, no contact available, hotline????…. doesn't answer the phone, the laminate is broken and lifting, the shower doesn't work properly.Conclusion: you can sleep here for one night, provided you are dead tired.NEWER ??? ...Karlshof??? .....Nope!!!

I dont even know where to start , this "hotel" or what they wanna call it sets a whole new standard of HORRIBLE, we came late and there was noone to check us in, which for that matter is okay , the code stuff to the door to enter works fine no problem at all BUT.... after entering the room youll be met by unreal amounts of dust and dead flies and bugs scattered around in the window frame and even on the bed table, and the heat in the room was unreal , pillows missing which the "boss" in the whattsapp chat said NEVER HAPPEND before ( funny enough there was also a pillow missing in room 1 where my friends stayed ( we were in room 8 ) if you dont mind how dirty a room is and wanna pay for a room here , then make sure your in a room facing away from the trains that run all night JUST OUTSIDE your window , freight trains rumble by all night and unless your on sleeping medication you WILL NOT BE SLEEPING.We tryed to adress these situations via whattsapp , but service is absolutely NON EXISTANT, owners of this place clearly dont know what coustumer service is , neither does their housekeeping staff, towels was clean aparently but i guess they get delivered to the hotel like all other hotels in the world .ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING PLACE!

The room is very bad, it's loud from the train station and the announcements, the beds are cracking, the TV doesn't work, the sockets are broken, it's a rip-off here. We've seen nicer rooms for less money

Very nice people who care. The room was large, clean and the beds were very comfortable, as well as an XXL bathtub. It's right next to the train station and you're very central. The prices were great. We will be back! Thanks

Hotel located right in the station with reception taking place in the station café or outside hours with a code.Average decor, very average building maintenance also with protruding wires and missing tiles in our bathroom, the shower head which is too old and screw holes all over the ceiling.Comfort level was good, comfortable bed and no noise for us in this room which scared us a little given the location.Pleasant staff.

The rooms were very good, it was clean and had all the comforts, I was passing through and needed to take the train early the next day so the location seemed excellent to me, plus buses leave every so often to the city center.

I knew that the hotel was at or in the train station, but I hadn't imagined it being so loud. Not only the trains and the announcements, no, you can also hear every noise in the hotel.Luckily I'm only spending one night here.

I could not see the hotel. Where I slept on the rails of the train station. So dirty, noisy, no hygiene, no hygiene, the smell of cigarettes in the next room, snoring, you can hear them all. If you don't want to sleep, you can make a reservation. The location is very very bad.🤮😡😡

It was an expensive hotel but I was not satisfied at all 😭It's extremely hot upstairs, but there's no air conditioner, and the fan is covered in dust...When I open the window, the train sounds so loud that I can't sleep...The drain in the shower was closed, and the hotel entrance couldn't be unlocked, so I had to wait quite a while...Anyway, it was the worst😭

Welcome to the Hotel Neuwer Kalshof, where your stay comes with a free soundtrack of trains and station speakers - who needs an alarm clock when you have the natural, rhythmic 'choo choo' every morning?Tucked into a sober nook of the train station building in Baden Baden, this place is a test of your detective skills. The entrance is as shady as a superhero's secret base, and the stairs? Let's just say they're not for the faint of heart.The rooms? A solid 1.5 stars, with windows offering prime views of the trains' ballet adventure. We skipped the cafe, but given the charm of the rest of the place, I guess the coffee there would taste like a warm hug after a long journey.So, if you love the train as much as you love a good night's sleep, and are looking for a place with character (and characters, courtesy of the train station announcements), make a pit stop at Neuwer Kalshof. It's like a cozy little home - with a little extra background noise!

Terrible.Booked a room for three days, only to get to the hotel and let them tell me: My room has not been booked – even though I had a receipt. The owner of the hotel was not reachable – phone number not working, other phone number didn't get picked up, their website is down... The person at the counter showed me that my booking didn't "reach them", however, she was very helpful. After some back and forth, I got a "room". Smelly, dirty, dusty, no proper light, flies on the bed. The room door doesn't close properly. It is so terrible, never experienced this.Wouldnt be surprised if they hardly changed bed sheets and towels. NEVER again!

I will not return, in fact I was losing money, even so I was happy not to be in that club, but rather I slept on a bench in the square, rooms from the 1920s, room for 3 people and they only put a small double bed, the room is on top at the same train station you have to enter them through the platform 🤦... I don't recommend it

I went with my wife and my son to a double room, small beds, the reservation is for 3 and only one double bed, (that......would my son have to sleep on the floor?...) how sad we were Let's go because of the bad …

The room was very large and spacious with a giant TV not in front of the bed but in front of two armchairs.The structure is inside the Baden Baden station which I found relatively quiet considering that we arrived at 10.30pmBelow the hotel there is the Coffee Fellows chain where you can have breakfast with a 20% discount (to be requested from the receptionist by saying that you are a hotel guest)Free parking at the station with plenty of parking spaces. There is no real reception but you have to refer to whoever is at the bar (you pay the tourist taxes to him)Possibility of late check in with code to open the hotel entrance door.
