We got married a few days ago and chose Schenks Landgasthof as a catering service provider for our celebration. This decision was the best we could have made! The food (grill buffet) was outstanding! Beautifully arranged and the taste is top notch! This was also the overall assessment of the wedding party. Any time again and our warmest recommendation! Thank you for everything Jochen, it was a pleasure.

I don't recommend this inn to anyone, it's a shame to pay too much and in the end you have no service. We would have to pay for the key service. That's what Mr. Schenk expected from us. We refused to pay it because it wasn't our fault We get cold water in the shower in the evening as a punishment for days. It's such an impertinence to stay here. Rooms full of dust and not cleaned every day. The excuse is we don't have a keyBe careful what you book and definitely not this inn

We had dinner here with a large group. First of all, it should be mentioned that we were stuck in traffic and only arrived an hour after our reservation. We were still given such a friendly welcome and also had delicious food! Very great, very sweet!The food was really excellent, we tried many dishes on the menu, all excellent! In our opinion, the game, beef and seasonal dishes are particularly recommended. Everything is very nicely arranged and the location is also very idyllic.Thank you for the lovely evening!

We looked for a restaurant that had game on the menu and found this one. The food was of excellent quality and tasted great. The service was very friendly and attentive. If we go on holiday nearby again, we will definitely come back. Thank you for a great end to our vacation.

I was a guest at a wedding at the weekend.I can't say anything about the agreement, I'm giving my personal impression here.The soup was so salty that children couldn't eat it.The food in general was really a disgrace, the "rust beef" was like the sole of a shoe, the arrangement at the buffet was a disaster. The salmon was an absolute joke and yes we can tell the difference between lake and wild salmon.All in all, I would not recommend this catering.

We were also guests at the wedding and are very disappointed.The crowd's topic of debate or not. The fact is: the soup was cold and completely oversalted. The risotto was soggy. The vegetables are overcooked. The arrangement at the buffet was anything but optimal (first the sauce, at the end the dumplings so you either had to live without sauce or had to squeeze in between them again!)Absolutely not recommended for weddings!

From personal experience, I absolutely cannot recommend Schenks Landgasthof. The agreed contract was not kept. Not enough was delivered, even though agreed otherwise. It also became embarrassing when the boss was there in person and pretended to be an innocent employee. The buffet was swept empty in a short time, even though not all the guests were at the buffet and that was at a wedding reception. An absolute nightmare for the bride and groom!!!
